Jupiter
Jupiter is a friendly, active boy. He enjoys being around people, going for walks, and rides nicely in the car. Jupiter is currently in a foster home with small dogs. He sometimes doesn’t know his own size when playing with them and can step on them. When they correct him, he listens.
He has also been respectful but curious regarding the cats in the home. Jupiter is a fast learner and would make a great addition if you’re looking to add a dog to your family.
Wesson
One of the humans here calls me a marshmallow. I’m sweet and fluffy.
I love boxes with a fluffy bed. I also really like to be on a lap. I’m pretty good at supervising and helping my office mate with computer work.
When the weather is nice I get to ride in the stroller and go sightseeing. When it’s not cold I like to hang out on the catio in the sunshine.

Checkers
Checkers is approximately 2-3 months old. Wow, what a beauty! We have no idea how such a good-looking puppy ended up at an overcrowded shelter, but luckily, he’s on the road to a better future! The Border Collie breed is a high-energy, exceedingly intelligent dog. Checkers will need constant stimulation and activity as his breed is very intelligent, high-maintenance, and notoriously full of energy.
Checkers wants nothing more than a family to call his own as he is extremely devoted to those who love him as much as he loves them. Won’t you please consider adopting this handsome fella?
Lucas
Lucas can be a bit sensitive and it may take time for him to settle into your life with you. Once he feels more secure there’s no doubt that he’ll be playful and active. He would do best with older children who can respect his boundaries and be patient with him while he settles in.
With patience and lots of treats, of course, Lucas will open up and become a great addition to the group. He’ll need daily exercise and interactive play time with you.
Lucas has lived in a backyard and is not comfortable being inside a home at this time. He is not house-trained. He loves attention, quiet, and just chilling.
Joey
Joey is a very handsome shepherd mix puppy, who came to the shelter with 5 brothers and sisters. Joey will need to be socialized with other pups and given opportunities to exhaust his puppy energy.
He will need to be taken out to potty every few hours…even during the wee hours of the night. He will definitely need a patient and loving family to work with him! Also, because he is still a pup, he can learn to get along with children and other animals.
Chandler
I’m Chandler! I’m an exuberant puppy with a constantly wagging tail and a huge grin on my beautiful face. My eyes sparkle with glee because I love absolutely everybody I meet and everyone who meets me loves me right back.
Since I’m so young I have lots of energy, and I’m strong too – the volunteers are helping me learn good manners BUT everything is so much fun I will need lots of reminders. I’m smart and enjoy learning tricks.
I came to the shelter with 5 brothers and sisters. Oh, and I will need to go out and go to the bathroom every 2-3 hours. I sometimes have to go at night, too. I hope you don’t mind if I have to wake you up to take me out. I am still pretty young.
Tonya
This beautiful young lady is Tonya. She is by far one of the sweetest kitties and very talkative too. Tonya enjoys spending time with her people. At first, this little cutie is quiet, but the more time you spend with Tonya, the more her personality grows.
In no time at all this sweetheart will be rubbing against you, meowing for your attention. Doesn’t this lovely lass sound like the girl for you? If so, please stop in and meet Tonya.
AmyP
Amy is a special girl. She loves everyone but is not comfortable with other cats. She is used to having the run of the home and spends her time watching out the window.
Amy comes running when called. Amy is ready for her furever home, could it be yours? Come in and meet Amy today.

Luna

Honey
Honey is an 8-year-old beauty. She will do best as an only cat. She has had bloodwork and her teeth were checked. All were good.

Dodger
Dodger is an adorable chihuahua mix. He’s just a little over one year old and weighs around 10 pounds. Dodger is a perfect little nugget who loves to cuddle!
He also does great on a leash. In addition, Dodger is good with other dogs, cats, and kids. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
He really is perfect in every way!
Sammy
Say hello to one of the cutest little fellers we’ve ever seen!
Sammy weighs around 9 pounds and is just a little over one year old. He is a sweet fun-sized blend of Maltese and Poodle. This adorable boy is a snuggle bug and very smart.
He loves kids and other dogs. He is wonderful at the groomers. In addition, Sammy is kennel trained. Sweet Sammy would be a perfect companion for any person or family.
Skipper
Skipper is a darling Dachshund mix. He is great with kids and dogs. Skipper likes to go for walks and car rides, and he enjoys snuggling on the couch.
He was adopted from us a year and a half ago and sadly lost his human to old age. Skipper is a little sad and confused but he is in a wonderful foster home right now while looking for his new fur-ever home.
Skipper is a jolly little guy and would make a great new best doggie friend for anyone!
Grayson
This little boy is Grayson. He is a super sweet kitten who is just a little over 3 months old. He is neutered and up to date with his vaccinations.
Grayson is everything you’ve ever wanted in a kitten – adorable, playful, and affectionate! He will no doubt grow into an extremely handsome adult cat!
Blaze
Blaze is a sweet little boy kitten who is just a little over 3 months old.
This cutie loves to play and romp around! When he’s all tuckered out from kitten shenanigans, Blaze loves to curl up on your lap for some serious snuggles and cuddle time.
All of our kittens are spayed/neutered and up to date with their vaccinations. Don’t miss out on the chance to adopt Blaze (and maybe another kitten so they can be buddies forever!)
Marilyn
Marilyn is a beautiful black and white kitten with a cute little “beauty mark” on her face and soft, silky medium-length fur. She’s just a little bit over 3 months old and is sweet as can be!
She likes all the things kittens enjoy: playing, jumping, romping around, napping, snuggling, pouncing, and purring!
Marilyn will need someone who will help keep her lovely fur brushed and smooth. She will surely grow up to be a stunning adult kitty!

Elvis
Five-year-old Elvis is a big galoof who loves everyone he meets (although he didn’t show much interest in cats). He’s a gentle giant who plays well with all sizes of dogs…even the little ones and puppies. He adores kids but can knock a little one over just giving a good sniff. He has an EXCELLENT sniffer!
Although he’s pretty quiet most of the time, the signature hound bay howl comes out when he plays. It’s adorable!
Elvis seems to have some training. He bolted on us once when we first got him but has been great since then. His new adopter just needs to be aware it can happen and they need to keep him safe, especially getting into and out of cars.
Bonnie
Bonnie has a happy tail and always wakes up in a good mood ready to start the day with a few kisses. She is approximately 2-3 years old and is the perfect size for a “tweener” dog (between big and little).
Bonnie is a shy girl who, we suspect, was abused which made her afraid of so many things. Fortunately, her foster mama has made a big difference and feels it’s time to find Bonnie’s family where she can continue to gain confidence and learn to blossom into the dog she was born to be.
Bonnie likes going for walks & hikes plus she loves car rides and being near her person. She’s very food motivated and a quick learner. Bonnie is housebroken with a doggy door and crate trained (although she would rather stay out with you). She would love another outgoing fun-loving dog to play with as she relies on other dogs to let her know if a situation is safe or not and would do best without small children as sudden movements and loud noises can frighten her. She requires a secure fenced yard.
Oscar
Do you like Chocolate? You just can’t get any sweeter than this gentle giant. Oscar is kennel trained and does well on his own outside a kennel. He shows no destructive behavior. He’s obedient, friendly, protective, calm, and quiet and he loves to snuggle on the couch. What more could you ask?
Oscar was recently surrendered due to a housing situation. At eight years old, he is a playful goofball (he has a huge bin of toys) and will try to get multiple toys in his mouth. He does well on a leash. He knows his basic commands and sits nicely for treats and meals. He has been socializing well at doggy daycare with male and female dogs. He enjoys older, respectful kids. He has not been cat tested.
Oscar was diagnosed with epilepsy a year ago after having a petit mal seizure (non-violent shaking) but no loss of consciousness. He takes medication twice a day (with peanut butter) to keep from having another one. He is at a good healthy weight at 80 pounds.
Bing
Two-year-old brothers Bing and Chunk were surrendered together and Chunk has been adopted but…his brother Bing is still waiting. Are you his furever family?
Bing, named for his beautiful Bing Crosby eyes, is energetic, playful, and loves to chew (antlers and durable toys preferred). He also enjoys cuddling and giving kisses. Bing has some fear of riding in cars and freezes up and doesn’t want to get in. However, after just a few trips to the dog park with our fabulous volunteers, he’s already becoming more relaxed and has a great time once he gets there. Trips to other fun places should help him continue with his progress.
Bing is good with other dogs, cats, and kids and will make a great addition to an active family. As puppies, Bing may do better with older children who will make sure not to leave toys laying around. (Did we mention he does love to chew and will need supervision since he will swallow toys if allowed). Bing would benefit from some training as he can jump and be mouthy when excited and hasn’t had much experience walking on a leash. A loving family with room to play and time to help socialize him will solve many of these behavioral issues.
Izzy
One-year-old Izzy is such a happy girl. She adores everyone (ok, we don’t know about cats yet) and loves to romp with kids, other dogs, or by herself if no one else is available.
Izzy is housebroken, spayed, microchipped, and fully vetted. This super-sweet girl is anxious to begin her new life with a special person or family that adores her. She’s super smart and has a lot of puppy energy still so might do best with a family with kids and/or other dogs and would love a big yard to explore.
