Bountiful, Utah’s Fission Breakers opened last Friday, Nov. 15, for Los Angeles-based Toy Bombs to a less than excited and fairly thin crowd at Jazzy’s Rock n Roll Grill in St. George. The trio wailed through a series of gritty original compositions before relinquishing the stage to the headline for the evening, a Southern Utah favorite, Toy Bombs.
Toy Bombs finally got the people on their feet for a little fist-pumping, guitar-driving dance rock. All four members of the L.A.-based outfit bring high energy, talent and swagger to the stage. Sing/guitarist/keyboardist Brandon McBride looks like Prince and rocks like him too…and he’s not even the lead singer. That title is held by Cole Barnson, who belts out every song like it’s his last. The longtime musical partners were backed up by an energetic bass and drum combo.

About Photographer Adrienne Beacco:
Hi, my name is Adrienne and I’m addicted to a good rock show. The volume, the adrenaline, the sweat… You’ll see me on the rail getting squished and spat on, but loving every minute of it.
I enjoy supporting local music. I’ve personally experienced how difficult it can be to get your band’s name out there. Through supporting my husband’s band, I realized a way I can help him and other local musicians along their way, all while feeding my creativity and love for music at the same time. I specialize in concert and studio photography. I can capture the energy of their live show and I can also create for them unique promo shots that reflect the band’s characteristics. Come at me with any concept… Let’s make your band stand out.
My future plans are to travel the world with my husband, expanding our talents in band promotion and musicianship. I’m thankful for this opportunity to join The Independent photography team. Getting my name out there will help get musician’s names out there.”
