Executive Water Finance Board returns to St. George to discuss controversial Lake Powell Pipeline
The Executive Water Finance Board, created in 2017 by Gov. Gary R. Herbert to review the fiscal and economic implications of state water projects, will hold its September meeting in St. George to review and collect public input on the financial and economic aspects of the controversial Lake Powell Pipeline project. The meeting will take place Sept. 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Conference Room B in DSU’s Garner Student Center, located at 225 S 700 E in St. George. The meeting is open to the public.
Meeting topics will include water use data, water supply, and considerations in state financing of the Lake Powell Pipeline Project.
