Red Flag Warning issued for southern Utah
A Red Flag Warning has been issued for southern Utah, in effect from 4 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, to 4 a.m. MDT Wednesday, Aug. 19, for wind and low relative humidity for fire weather zone 497.

Expected Conditions
Winds are expected from the northeast 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph particularly along the Interstate 15 corridor and along the mountains of western Washington County Tuesday morning and again Tuesday night.
Relative humidity is expected to drop below 15 percent Tuesday morning and into the single digits Tuesday afternoon, rising above 15 percent Tuesday night.
Impacts of the Red Flag Warning are created by the combination of low relative humidity and gusty winds to create hazardous fire weather conditions Tuesday into Tuesday night.
