Must-Visit Destinations
Fishlake National Forest
This stunning natural wonderland, ideal for camping and wildlife viewing, features Fishlake—the largest natural mountain lake in Utah. Fishing, boating, and kayaking opportunities abound, and the Kokanee Salmon Run each fall offers a brilliant display as the fish transform from silver to bright red for spawning season.
Also residing in Fishlake National Forest is Pando, the world’s largest organism. This massive clonal colony of quaking aspen trees spans 106 acres, comprises more than 40,000 individual trees, and is estimated to be over 80,000 years old.
Mystic Hot Springs
Tucked among red rock formations, Mystic Hot Springs features naturally formed travertine pools, often described as “bathtub hot springs,” offering a serene and private soaking experience surrounded by stunning scenery.
Fremont Indian State Park
Encircled by towering red cliffs, this park offers a rich look at the Fremont people who inhabited the area from 1000–1300 AD. Visitors can explore Five Finger Ridge and its collection of more than 3,000 panels of rock imagery, including petroglyphs, pictographs, and pictoglyphs—visual narratives of ancient life, beliefs, and culture.

Paragliding
With stunning terrain, consistent thermals, and multiple launch sites, the Richfield area draws paragliding enthusiasts from around the globe. Monroe Peak, 12 miles southeast of town, offers sweeping views and excellent soaring conditions. Paragliding events are scheduled for September.
