The Globe Theater at the Roots of the Rocks Revival Festival in Beaver |
The Independent
Get ready for Roots of the Rocks Revival Festival next weekend, July 17-19, at the incredibly beautiful Eagle Point Resort just outside of Beaver, Ut. Beat the summer heat by enjoying some cool mountain air and serenading your ears with the Colorado Plateau’s best musical talent, along with the California bands Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers and Tracorum, both of whom will be making a stop at the Roots of the Rocks Festival as part of their 2015 tours.
The Roots of the Rocks Festival is a top-notch concert production that includes epic light shows to light up the surrounding pinewood forest and crisp and clear—yet still booming—sound systems. The Imagine Nation artistic design company will be creating the main stage, building The Globe Theater as the second stage, and facilitating festival art and the “mountain man” theme.
In addition to good music and good friends, there will be food vendors, a beer garden, a horseshoe tournament, mountain bike rentals, free shuttle rides between the venue, condos, and the lake, and more! If you’re feeling particularly bold, you may choose to take part in the mountain man games, which will include an axe throw, water haul, scavenger hunt, and more.
The Roots of the Rocks Festival lasts for three days and three nights. Click on the image in the photo gallery below for the music lineup. You can camp or rent a condo from Eagle Point Resort. Sponsors for the festival include O.P. Rockwell, The State Room, Guitar Czar, KRCL, KZMU, and City Weekly. Tickets are $95 online and $105 at the gate. Tickets include camping but not vehicle passes.
