Businesses impacted by the Dragon Bravo Fire and White Sage Fire can now apply for low-interest federal disaster loans after the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) declared an economic disaster in the region. Beginning August 25, SBA mobile service teams will be on the ground in northern Arizona and southern Utah to assist business owners with Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) applications.
The EIDL program offers long-term recovery support for small businesses suffering financial losses due to the devastating wildfire season. Loans are available for up to 30 years with a fixed 4% interest rate. To ease recovery, principal and interest payments are deferred during the first year.
