One of the most electrifying nights of the summer is headed to Springdale as Sgt. Splendor takes the indoor stage at The Bit & Spur Restaurant & Saloon on Friday, July 19 at 10 PM. This 21-and-over ticketed show ($20 at the door) features a powerhouse lineup led by Kate Vargas and Eric McFadden, two nationally recognized artists in their own right. Together, they fuse blues, desert rock, alt-funk, and gritty storytelling into something transcendent.

McFadden’s resume includes playing guitar for George Clinton & P-Funk, Anders Osborne, and Eric Burdon & The Animals. Vargas has been praised by NPR, Rolling Stone, and American Songwriter for her smoky vocals and raw songwriting. Sgt. Splendor’s sound has been called “mysterious and memorable” by Add to Want-list and “an album for music aficionados” by Goldmine Magazine. To top it off, they’ll be joined by Norwood Fisher and John Steward of Fishbone—making this a supergroup-style night not to miss.
