Eagle Point Resort Opening Weekend 2019/2020
Well now that the season is officially in full swing and the partying is underway, it’s time to live it up, my friends. I’m glad that Eagle Point Resort had all its lifts operating on opening weekend. After I last talked to you, it had been a stellar week in the weather pattern, which had helped set a great base. I didn’t know what to expect as far as conditions went, but one look up the peak from my condo and I noticed that a few tracks had been made with plenty of room to leave your own. I immediately changed plans and dropped into Lookout Quad Chair, which serves the steeper side of the mountain, and off I went exploring. There was lots of hooting and hollering, and even an “I love Eagle Point” as I pointed my camera to some folks heading up the lift.
I was greeted with beautiful blue bird conditions, warm weather, and plenty of fresh snow that had been waiting specially for a thing that is know in this neck of the woods as #powderfridays. I highly suggest you plan ahead for such occasions by compiling a list of excuses or filling out a PTO sheet at your 9 to 5 asap.
The crew up at EP had been staying busy for opening and had a full menu for tasting in the dining section as well as for the park features. It was great running into old friends and sharing in these great moments this time of year. Now that we are back into the rhythm of the season and a new year ahead of us, it’s time to make a list of things we want to accomplish in 2020, not only in our riding but in our daily lives.
A toast to you, my friends, and all the great people at Eagle Point who have treated me like family year after year. Congratulations on your 10th season, guys. I look forward to making and sharing many great memories with you this season. Visit eaglepointresort.com to plan an all inclusive weekend getaway with all of your friends and family this season!
