Harry

Meet Harry! This little fella came in with his brother Marv and is grateful for a warm shelter and full belly. The brothers need training but are very eager to learn. Harry is an Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler mix, young male pup that is affectionate, friendly, playful, and smart.

Harry deserves a furever, loving home, could it be yours?

Jack

Hi there! My name is Jack, and I am a very good boy who is young, friendly, and in search of a loving home where I can shine. I have beautiful curls, and they say I am a doodle of some sort. I am an easy-going and friendly pup who enjoys making new dog friends and playing with them. I also don’t mind cats in case there is one in my future furever home.

I’m just a young guy with lots of love to give, and I’m excited to find a family to call my own. If you’re interested in meeting me, please come see me at RSQ soon! I can’t wait to see you.

Marv

Adorable Marv has been enjoying life with a warm bed and a full belly. He and his brother are ready to meet their furever family. He needs training but is at the perfect age to learn and is thriving off positive reinforcement.

Marv is an Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler mix, young male pup that is affectionate, playful, curious, and friendly.

Hootie

Meet Hootie. This little guy just wants to hold your hand. Ginger cats are the best, and Hootie is no exception! He is affectionate, brave, friendly, and independent.

All Hootie asks is for you to adopt him and love him forever.

Fig

Meet Fig! She is a Siamese and Dilute Calico mix, young female cat. Fig is affectionate, friendly, gentle, house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone.

This new girl is ready to find her furever home!

Cashew

Meet this little Cashew. She is a Siamese and Dilute Calico mix, young female cat. Cashew is quiet, affectionate, house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone.

She is new to RSQ and ready for her furever home.

 Tiger

Tiger came to the shelter on September 22, 2024 by a lady who told us he was a stray. It was noted that Tiger had a tipped ear (meaning he had been trapped fixed and release at some point in time. This was no feral cat who only wanted to be petted and purred constantly even though he was very ill.

Tiger was very sick with severe eye and generalized infection. Tiger went to the doctor and was given three different medications. Tiger improved with the medication and car he received and was taken back to the vet for a recheck.

Tiger does not like dogs nor is he fond of the other cats in the room. He will do best in a home where he will be the only animal to get all the attention. We are unsure of his age and are estimating 4-5 years old.

Whoever had this cat must of loved him to spend thousands of dollars on the surgery. We don’t know how he ended up on the streets but he deserves a home of his own.

Charlie and Lucy

Shih Tzus, Charlie and Lucy, lost their owner when he was placed in a facility. The man’s children were not interested in keeping the dogs, so they came to us.

These two exceptionally sweet dogs are 12 years old. They are both trained to use a dog door. They both enjoy going to the local parks and playing in the water pads!

Both Charlie and Lucy could stand to lose a little bit of weight; but hey, couldn’t we all?!

Charlie is a very happy boy and loves everyone! Lucy is a sweetie who likes women but really adores men! We would love to have them adopted together. They are bffs and deserve all the best of everything. Mostly, they need a good family to love.

Jasper

It’s hard to believe, but Jasper is STILL LOOKING for his fur-ever home.

If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, adorable, playful, and loving dog, Jasper is the one for you!

This ball of energy is eager to please, quite well-behaved, and needs to be in a home with older children or a very active adult. Jasper is crate trained and knows lots of commands. He likes to be out on the water and to play in the water, and he loves to go for walks. Although he is crate trained, he likes to be with his human and sleep in their bed at night (awwww!).

Jasper is house trained.

He got along just fine with a kitty as a house mate, and he was friends with a chicken. He ignores little dogs but it is unknown how Jasper would react to a larger dog. This sweetheart is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He weighs about 50 pounds and is about 3 1/2 years old.

Hank

Sweet tuxedo kitty, Hank, is a lovable 4-month-old kitty who gets along with everyone. And when we say “everyone” we mean EVERYONE: kids, dogs, cats, chickens, goats, alpacas, and horses!

Hank is playful, friendly, and affectionate. He’s a purr-fect kitty who would be a great addition to any warm and loving home!

Hank would love to be home with a family who will love and care for him fur-ever.

Diesel

Diesel is one of the cutest, most friendliest kitties you’ll ever meet!

Check out those adorable little white paws. Then there’s his silky, grey & white fur. And those whiskers!!! They go on forever! And did you see his little soul patch on his chin?!

Diesel is sweet, social, affectionate, playful, cuddly, and oh-so-lovable. He is neutered and up to date with his shots. At just 5 years young, this boy has plenty of years ahead of him!

Swing by the St George PetSmart to see Diesel. We can’t think of a better way to start the New Year than by Adopting for Life!

Sheba

Sheba is a very special kitty. Her owner could no longer care for her, so Sheba came to us. She lived in a home with just one person and no other animals in the house.

This beautiful girl is only 4 years old, so she has her entire lifetime ahead of her. She is spayed. She has a gorgeous fur coat that is sleek and so shiny. We don’t know very much about her purr-sonality right now, because she is just downright terrified.

We do know that Sheba deserves a chance and we will do everything in our power to find the perfect home for her. Sheba would probably do best in a quiet home with adults or older kids who are kind and respectful. She might be fine with another cat; given slow and proper introductions.

This girl needs time. Lots and lots of time, and patience. She needs to decompress; she lost the only home she’s ever known and the only person she’s ever been with. And Sheba needs love. She needs so much love!

“Don’t give up on the hard pets. They will give you something you never knew you needed.”

Curow

Curious, quiet Curow is only a year old and is a total snuggle bug who just plain adores people and plays well with other dogs. This handsome boy is going to make someone so happy!

Curow walks well on a leash but gets a little excited to see what’s ahead so he pulls a bit. He has already been neutered and microchipped and his vaccinations are up to date. This boy is more than ready to get into his forever home!

Sisters Bixby & Brookly

Sisters Bixby & Brookly were abandoned under a bridge with their mom and left to survive on their own. Luckily they were rescued and are safe now. These sweet puppies are learning to be the puppies they were meant to be.

Bixby & Brooklyn were born around the beginning of February. They are available now since they have already been spayed and have received all their vaccinations. One or both can be yours forever today … come meet these cutie pies.

Clyde

One-and-a-half-year-old Clyde is the perfect mid-size boy. He’s quiet, gentle and loving; a little shy at first but warms up quickly. He likes to play with his toys, walks well on a leash and gets along with other dogs, even the little ones. He is a bit afraid of cats, however, but definitely not aggressive towards them.

Clyde’s owner said he wasn’t playful enough so they traded him in for a puppy. When he was left with us, his heart was broken, his coat thin and dull, his skin dark, he had no energy, and his tummy was upset. He was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism (which is common in dogs) and Addison’s disease (which is not so common). He has begun treatment and we can already see the improvement.

Because his doctor is fine-tuning his medication and he needs to go in for occasional tests, Clyde is available LOCALLY ONLY. That means we are only accepting applications from the Hurricane area (Washington County).

Rusty

Six-year-old, 60 lb Rusty has been through a LOT in his life. It is believed he was abandoned in a field by his previous owner (what kind of human being does that?) and evaded capture for at least eight months! Then he waited another six weeks at the pound before being rescued and sent to foster care. The boy is a survivor!

Rusty is a gentle, incredibly sweet, timid boy who is uncomfortable and wary of all things. He desperately wants human affection, love and support from people but he needs to trust them first and that doesn’t come easy to him.

Unfortunately, Rusty was never house trained but he’s learning quickly in foster care. At this time, he is cautious and a little nervous around other dogs, large and small but, with time, that should change. Rusty is pretty mellow for a Catahoula. He’s in good health, up to date on his vaccinations, neutered, and a favorite with his vet’s staff.

Kairi

Sweet Kairi loves everyone: other dogs, kids and grownups. When strolling around the neighborhood, she even seemed to be ok with cats, chickens and horses. She’s happy just hanging out, whether going out for a stroll, cruising around town in a car or snuggling next to you on the couch … as long as she knows she’s safe and loved.

Kairi is housebroken, spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. She’s also very smart and has been trained to follow several commands. This lovely lady is ready to meet her new family and start a brand new life.
