Dempsey has been around other dogs his size and interacted appropriately. If you’d like to meet him, please fill out an adoption application today.
Ridgeway
Ridgeway is the strong and silent type. She’s quite timid initially but working every day on building her confidence. She is a bit wary of strangers at first and can take a while to warm up but it’s well worth the wait! Once she trusts people she is gentle, kind and loving.
Ridgeback is just a young pup, so she needs some help with her basic manners. However, she’s highly intelligent and learns quickly. She loves playing with her sister, Silkie, and is always thrilled to get attention from the people she knows. With a little bit of extra time and patience, Ridgeback will make an absolutely wonderful family member.

McNova
McNova is sweet kitten. She was born to a feral mom, but raised by a human with her two brothers.
She loves to cuddle, specially in the morning.
She enjoys a window with a view to cackle at birds, she’d be happy to have cat friends.
McNova’s disposition is a great balance. She has some kitten energy, but is also very gentle and affectionate.
Franchesca
Franchesca is a curious young cat who enjoys the company of her cat friends. She is still a little shy around humans but lets us get closer and closer every day. It takes a little time to adapt to new situations but once she feels comfortable her confident and fun-loving nature begins to shine.
She is a FeLV+ cat, so it would be best to go to a single home; or a home with other FeLV+ friends.

Lucas
Lucas is a wonderful dog. He has lived his life in a backyard so he will need a yard and also needs secure high fencing.
He will need basic house training. Loves being with people and playing with toys and in the water.
Mikey
Mikey was found as a stray. He is very friendly and loves attention. He has a lot of energy and loves to play. He seems to be ok with other dogs.
We think he is approximately 2–3 years old. He is not one to instigate any confrontation with other dogs, but we feel that he would be best in a home without other pets. He is a good boy and would benefit from an experienced dog owner.
Mikey is very independent and dignified. He has shown to be loyal and smart. He is going to make a very good dog for any home willing to give him a chance.
Gilligan and Skipper
Meet Gilligan and Skipper they are very friendly and outgoing. They have the perfect name for all the laughable antics they play with each other.
These beautiful kittens are in foster care but can be adopted now and are able to go home after their vet visit on the 15th of this month.

Sam
Meet Sam! He is a 1-year-old cattle dog/heeler mix. He is the happiest shy doggy and you’ll have a hard time trying not to fall in love with him.
He loves to run and wiggle that tail around as fast as the wind! He is learning commands and manners and is so smart!
Come meet this boy at the PAWS Adoption Center.
Charlie
My name is Charlie! I am a 6-month-old Heeler/Shepherd mix who loves to play, give kisses, and cuddle! I know how to use a doggy door and I love everyone.
Please come meet me at the PAWS Adoption Center so you can adopt me! I’ve had all my shots and am neutered. I’m ready for my family to adopt me!
Sansa
Sansa is a 3-month-old Heeler mix and she is so very smart. She is almost potty-trained, knows some commands, and loves to learn. She is very playful and sweet. She will make a great family pet and loves the outdoors.
She will be spayed soon and has 2 sets of puppy shots. She is currently in foster so submit an application and be approved to meet her. You will love her!
April
April is about 1½ years old and is a very sweet girl. She loves to purr on your lap and take a quick nap on you. She is shy at first but after she warms up to you, she is absolutely in love with you as if she’s known you forever.
She is waiting for you to visit her in the PAWS Cat Room.
Dustie
Dustie is a gorgeous 3-year-old female. She is an absolute sweetheart but is a bit timid and scared of new environments. She needs a quiet and calm family who will give her time to get to know them.
She will do great with other cats that love to cuddle. Once you get to know Dustie, you will see just how sweet she is. If you adopt her portrait (done by local artist, Sue Kroll), you get the cat!
Michael
At first glance, you might think Michael is a tough Tom with a cool and aloof personality, but honestly, that couldn’t be farther from the truth. When Michael first came to PAWS, he was sensitive and shy. Now he’s still sensitive and shy, AND the sweetest, mushiest little cuddle bug!
He is often one of the first to greet people when they enter the room. Find Michael in one of the cats’ many snuggle beds and he will roll over, purr, and beg you for pets and love. He adores humans, and he gets along very well with other cats as long as they are gentle and calm with him.
Michael is the best example of why you can never judge a book by its cover. Come down to PAWS to meet him today, but be careful, you might never want to let him go!

Milo
Milo is a playful little guy who loves to have fun running around with his kitten buddies. He loves any and all kitty toys!

Bernie
Playboy Bernie is approximately two years old. He’s a great boy who is a bit of a clutz but who LOVES playing catch (and will play all day!). He’s very affectionate and great with adults and most likely children … we just haven’t seen him with any yet. He’s also super smart and learns commands quickly!
Bernie sometimes gets possessive of his people and toys when other dogs are around so it might be best if he were an only dog. He’s a total love, though, and is going to make someone a wonderful companion.
Bernie was pretty matted when he came to BAM. He may not require professional grooming but his adopter will need to keep him brushed to keep his beautiful coat tangle free. It’s easy, and he’s so happy when he’s being brushed.
Elvis
Five-year-old Elvis is a big galoof who loves everyone he meets (although he didn’t show much interest in cats). He’s a gentle giant who plays well with all sizes of dogs … even the little ones and puppies. He adores kids but can knock a little one over just giving a good sniff. He has an EXCELLENT sniffer!
Although he’s pretty quiet most of the time, the signature hound bay howl comes out when he plays. It’s adorable!
Elvis seems to have some training. He bolted on us once when we first got him but has been great since then. His new adopter just needs to be aware it can happen and they need to keep him safe, especially getting into and out of cars.
Misty
Who would believe this butterball loves to run and then cool off in a cold stream?
Wide as she is tall, chunky monkey Misty is a lot of loving lap dog! She’s also a super sweet girl who gets along with other dogs and probably kids although we haven’t seen her around any yet.
Misty is 8 years old, spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccinations. She needs an adopter willing to monitor her food and exercise to get her down to a healthier weight.
Rooster
Thought to be around five years old, skinny little Rooster is such an affectionate boy and so much fun to be around. As you can see, he’s a real crowd-pleaser!
Rooster plays well with all dogs, adores kids, and loves to run! He’s housetrained, neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and is ready to go!
Ryder
Ryder is about approximately one year old and, as with some other rescues, he has some trust issues. He’s cautious around people at first but warms up and is very sweet and worth a little extra love and affection.
Ryder is just learning what dog treats are for (although he loves deli meat and cheese) and still hasn’t figured out what to do with toys. It didn’t take him long, however, to decide he adores ear rubs and pittie scratches and will snuggle up close to be loved on. He will be exceptionally loyal to whoever adopts him as long as they promise to shower him with all the love every dog deserves.
Ryder gets along well with other dogs but can get a bit possessive of his people so his dog buddies should be introduced properly. He might also take a little time to feel safe in a new yard so supervision is critical in the first weeks.
Ryder will need an adopter willing to give him the attention and love he’s been missing, and patience with him while he learns he’s in a safe and loving environment.
Willy
What a cutie pie! Born around mid-January, little Willy is friendly and playful with other dogs.
Willy is a herding dog so he’ll chase livestock and might be nippy because that’s what cattle dogs are bred to do. It doesn’t mean he’s aggressive but he will need to be trained to tell the difference between people and cows. He could be a great ranch dog with a job to make use of his natural talents. If not on a ranch, Willy will still need a job in a home environment and will be happiest with lots of exercise/hiking/running.
Willy is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. Because of his nippiness, he would probably do better with older kids.
