Arae

I am a very happy girl. Like, so happy that I wiggle all the time. I love to be busy playing with my toys or playing with my people. Another thing I really like to do is learn. I have gotten pretty good at sit and have been working on learning spin!

Want to know what else I bet I would love? A family! I always hear the staff say that I am super cute so hopefully adopters think so too. Like all puppies, I will need gentle guidance to grow into the best dog I can be.

Starbright

Meet Starbright! While she is a timid girl, she does approach her foster parents for petting and treats. She loves the company of other dogs and would benefit from another confident dog to show her the ropes in her adoptive home.

If you have a little extra patience to help Starbright gain confidence and trust, please reach out to an adoption specialist today.

Fireheart

Look at my cute small puppy face! I was part of a litter of eight that arrived to Best Friends in August. During my stay at the sanctuary I have been working on potty training, learning new things and being brave.

My favorite things right now include food, toys, soft beds & making new friends….I would love to add ‘my family’ to that list as well! Like all puppies, I will need gentle guidance to grow into the best dog I can be.

Crush

Meet Crush, the fizzy bundle of energy you never knew you needed! This spunky little kitten is all about bringing the fun-she’s a whirlwind of playful antics and adorable chaos! Crush is always ready to pop into action, whether she’s pouncing on her siblings or zooming across the room like a sparkling soda can on a mission.

With a bubbly personality and a knack for making you laugh, Crush will keep you entertained for hours. If you’re ready to add a splash of joy and a fizz of excitement to your home, Crush is the purr-fect companion for you! Get ready for a bubbly adventure!

Flitwick

Meet Flitwick, the reserved tortie kitten with a delicate charm and a heart full of potential! This shy little beauty is on the lookout for a loving and patient family who can help her thrive and gradually open up to love. While she may take her time, Flitwick does enjoy gentle pets and appreciates the kindness of her humans.

With a little TLC and understanding, Flitwick’s sure to blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion, ready to fill your home with warmth and joy!

Dottie

Dottie is a sensitive and slightly shy cat who just needs a gentle touch to feel at ease. While she may be reserved at first, once you approach her with kindness, she quickly melts into your pets and reveals her super sweet side.

Dottie truly appreciates a soft and patient hand, and in return, she’ll offer you a loving and tender companionship. If you’re looking for a gentle soul who will warm your heart with her quiet affection, Dottie is the perfect match for you!

Slate

Meet Slate! He has the most beautiful, smooth, soft, solid black coat. He’s a dream to pet, but also loves to play! He is very active, very smart, and learns very well.

This good boy would prefer a home without small children as they intimidate him right now. Slate absolutely LOVES water, so if you are looking for a lake dog, this is your guy!

Oakley

Mee Oakley! Stunning with his brindle coloring, he has grown into such a stud!

Oakley loves exploring and is very happy to lounge in fresh green grass. This happy boy is an outdoors lover, for sure! He went to puppy training classes through the Woof Wellness Center and is doing great! This is the perfect age to get him trained to be your lifelong best friend!

Sister

Sister is a 1 year old true sweetheart that loves snuggling nearly as much as play time. She’s very smart but can be unsure of new people and new dogs. Sister needs a family to build trust and confidence with.

Sister’s ideal home would be a quiet environment with a nice yard to run around and play in with another dog. She bonds well with another dog and is a good play companion. She also loves the attention from her favorite people so a family that is around a lot and doesn’t mind getting kisses and hugs from her would be ideal!

Sister is currently living in a foster home with two other dogs and doing well. Contact RSQ to hear more about Sister and arrange a time to meet this sweet little girl.

Gator

Gator is an outgoing sweetie who likes to show his teeth to the camera. He loves humans and gets along with other cats. He just wants a lap to sit on while being petted.

Gator is affectionate, gentle, vocal and house-trained.

Merle

Merle is a confident boy! He makes himself at home instantly and walks around like he owns the place. And well, he does.

He’s curious and interested in any activity currently happening, and he’s brave enough to explore anywhere without hesitation. He likes being near his human. At night, when he’s finished exploring, he’ll join you for sleep.

Food is his love language, maybe more than love itself. He loves wet food in particular. His affectionate side comes out when he wants you to feed him. Get you a man who looks at you the way Merle looks at food.

He will do well in a home where he can receive a lot of attention, look out the window, and in general be inspired by the world around him. While Merle is great with female cats, he tends to be less friendly to male cats.

Merle is unusually energetic, smart, and joyful. He brings other cats out of their shells and adds life wherever he goes.

Ernie

Ernie is total sweetheart. He came to us rough around the edges, but with love, time, and Churus, he’s quickly shown us his sweet side. He loves attention, and that works out because humans and his many new cat friends in Cat World at RSQ gravitate toward him.

Make arrangements to meet Ernie today!

She will make a great best friend to someone.

Jack

Jack’s owner moved and could not have him where he moved to. Jack would love to find a furever home to finish out his years. He is 9 years old.

He is very friendly and loves attention. Great on leash and loves to snuggle with the volunteers. Calm and quiet boy.

Jasper

Jasper is 3 years old and is a high energy boy who plays with every toy he can find. He needs a very high secure fence as he is an escape artist when left alone.

Jaspers knows basic commands and loves being with people- thus his escaping to find someone to play with.

Kodas

Kodas owner moved and could not have him. He is heartbroken and keeps looking for his person. He is very calm and quiet dog and just comfortable with sitting near you.

He is shy but will warm up once he feels safe. He is a good dog!

Shakira is a true athlete who loves to please and learn. She will love to go on adventures with you. Come into PAWS and meet this great girl!

Pico and Richard

Pico
Richard

Pico is a 2-year-old small Terrier mix and Richard is a 2-year-old Schnauzer/Terrier mix. They are a bonded pair and will need to go home together. They are great dogs and get along with other dogs.

They are shy at first and will need someone with patience to bring them out of their shells. Once they get to know you, they are playful and very sweet. Both are definitely lap dogs! They love to go on walks and are potty trained using a doggy door. Come meet these sweethearts!

Bagheera

Bagheera is a fictional character in Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book. He is a black panther who serves as friend, protector and mentor to the “man-cub” Mowgli.

Our very own Bagheera is a gorgeous 3 1/2-month-old kitten who is looking for his fur-ever home! It might take him a little bit to warm up, but once he is comfortable, he is a total cuddle bug! Bagheera is also quick to play with toys. With those stunning eyes and his silky black fur, this boy is absolutely purr-fect in every way.

Jinx

This gorgeous girl is Jinx. She is about 4 1/2 months old, and her fur pattern is what is known as “ticked.” The color on the hair shafts alternates, giving these cats a salt-and-pepper look. The ticking gene masks the regular tabby gene on the body, which is why ticked tabbies still have stripes on their face, tail, and legs – these are called residual markings.

Jinx is a LOVE. It takes her a little time to warm up, but once she’s comfy, she will melt right into your arms. She is definitely a cuddle bug and just wants to feel safe and loved. Don’t miss out on the chance to adopt this very special beauty!

Bubba

Bubba is about 2 1/2 years old. He would like to be the only cat in the home so he can give and get all the loves. He is litterbox trained, vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He loves his humans and to lay in a sunny window.

He also loves to help in the office: he watches the printers to make sure they don’t run out of paper. He’s a very handsome guy so come by and say hi soon. He may win your heart and you can take him home with you!

Oreo

If you’ve been looking for a canine companion who is on the small side, Oreo just might be the one for you!

He’s a darling black and white Pomeranian looking for his fur-ever home.

This boy is sweet and cute as can be! At just a little bit over 5 years young, Oreo has many years of life ahead of him. This freckle-faced cutie weighs about 14 pounds. He is neutered, up to date with his vaccinations, and ready to go home with you today!

Mittens

Mittens is feline purr-fection!

He’s an adorable 2 1/2-month old kitten with THE CUTEST milk moustache and too-cute little white paws and toesies!

Mittens plays hard and sleeps even harder. He’s a wonderful little snuggler when it’s time for a nap. Once he is rested, recharged, and refreshed, he has a blast running, romping, and rolling around with the other kittens, so please consider adopting two kittens. They truly do best in pairs. Just think: twice the cuteness, twice the fun, twice the love!

Jerry

Just look at this captivating little kitten!

Jerry is a 2 1/2-month-old poof of floof who loves to play with his kitten friends! He’s neutered, up to date with age-appropriate vaccinations, and Jerry is ready to go home with you today!

Please consider adopting 2 kittens. They really do best in pairs because they keep each other entertained, provide companionship for each other, and they’ll no doubt be best friends forever. You’ll enjoy double the cuteness, twice the cuddles, and 2x the love!

Snickers

With a face like hers, Snickers is paws-itively adorable and impossible to resist!

She’s got the cutest little white paws as well! Snickers is just a little over 2 months old. This kitten is playful, affectionate, and obviously quite loveable.

Don’t miss out on the chance to adopt sweet Snickers. And while you’re at it, please consider adopting 2 kittens. They do best in pairs!

Rusty

Six-year-old, 60 pound Rusty has been through a LOT in his life. It is believed he was abandoned in a field by his previous owner (what kind of human being does that?) and evaded capture for at least eight months! Then he waited another six weeks at the pound before being rescued and sent to foster care. The boy is a survivor!

Rusty is a gentle, incredibly sweet, timid boy who is uncomfortable and wary of all things. He desperately wants human affection, love and support from people but he needs to trust them first and that doesn’t come easy to him.

Unfortunately, Rusty was never house trained but he’s learning quickly in foster care. At this time, he is cautious and a little nervous around other dogs, large and small but, with time, that should change. Rusty is pretty mellow for a Catah

Catalina

Ten-year-old Catalina is a total doll with a loving personality and she’s looking for a lap to call her own.

Catalina has been spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. She’s packed her bags and is ready to go.

Summer

If you’re looking for a best friend to help you become more active, Summer is your girl! Summer is not quite six years old & does well when left alone in the house without being kenneled. She’s very playful and loves riding in the car and going for walks where she can smell everything and explore. She’s great on a leash but doesn’t do well when she meets other dogs as she gets very protective of her human. Once back inside the house, however, she’s super chill. She loves to snuggle up while watching TV and will love to sleep next to you all night long.

Sweet Summer is the perfect-sized girl; not too big and not too small, with a TON of energy. She would love to have an adopter who can keep her entertained and shower her with love (and snacks), and a fenced-in yard where she where she can play. She is amazing with all people and adores kids. With other dogs, she can be “hit or miss” so any  potential adopters with dogs would require a meet and greet. And she says a firm, no thank you to cats!

Jenga

What a happy girl pretty Jenga is but … she would be even happier with a home of her own.

Jenga is such a sweetheart. We’re guessing she’s approximately two years old. She loves to romp with the other dogs and adores kids, although she might get a bit too excited for little ones.

She is spayed, housebroken, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations.

Sadie

Sweet Sadie came to us so scared. She’s still shy but is gaining confidence and really coming out of her shell.

Sadie loves to play with other dogs. She would probably be good with cats and respectful children but she’ll need a patient family who is willing to love her on her terms until she feels comfortable. Once she trusts you, she will be your very best friend.

Sadie has been spayed, is house-trained, and is up to date on her vaccinations. She really is the nicest girl and adores being petted and loved on.
