Marv
Adorable Marv has been enjoying life with a warm bed and a full belly. He and his brother are ready to meet their furever family. He needs training but is at the perfect age to learn and is thriving off positive reinforcement.
Marv is affectionate, playful, curious and friendly. He is an Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler mix, medium sized, young dog.
Harry
Meet Harry! This little fella came in with his brother Marv and is grateful for a warm shelter and full belly. The brothers need training but are very eager to learn.
Harry is affectionate, friendly, playful and smart. Like his brother Marv, Harry is an Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler mix, medium sized, young dog. Apply today!
Sister
Sister is a 1 year old true sweetheart that loves snuggling nearly as much as play time. She’s very smart but can be unsure of new people and new dogs. Sister needs a family to build trust and confidence with.
Sister’s ideal home would be a quiet environment with a nice yard to run around and play in with another dog. She bonds well with another dog and is a good play companion. She also loves the attention from her favorite people so a family that is around a lot and doesn’t mind getting kisses and hugs from her would be ideal! Sister is currently living in a foster home with two other dogs and doing well.
Merle
Merle is a confident boy! He makes himself at home instantly and walks around like he owns the place. And well, he does. He’s curious and interested in any activity currently happening, and he’s brave enough to explore anywhere without hesitation. He likes being near his human. At night, when he’s finished exploring, he’ll join you for sleep.
Food is his love language, maybe more than love itself. He loves wet food in particular. His affectionate side comes out when he wants you to feed him.
He will do well in a home where he can receive a lot of attention, look out the window, and in general be inspired by the world around him. While Merle is great with female cats, he tends to be less friendly to male cats. Merle is unusually energetic, smart, and joyful. He brings other cats out of their shells and adds life wherever he goes.
Lenny
Introducing Lenny, an endearing feline who is a little misunderstood. While he may seem a bit scared and uneasy around humans, he has found solace in a few, slowly revealing his true charm and tender nature when given the time and care.
Lenny is a handsome fella, waiting for that special someone who’s as laid back as he is and will indulge in this sweet cat’s favorite pastimes including basking in sunny spots and taking luxurious cat naps. She is friendly, smart, brave, curious, independent, dignified, quiet and would be good in a home with other cats or alone.
Heidi
Meet sweet Heidi. This charming and distinguished girl is a curious observer, always keeping a watchful eye on her surroundings, be it people or other feline friends. Her observant nature makes her an intriguing and endearing companion. And while she was not named for her ability to find unique hiding places, she is quite keen at it. However, once she knows she can trust you, she will reveal her affectionate nature.
She loves attention and cuddles, but she especially loves when you brush her luxurious coat. If you’re looking for a sweet addition to your life, Heidi is the cat you’ve been waiting for.

Hank would love to be home for the holidays with a family who will love and care for him fur-ever.
Circe
Circe is a playful little kitten who goes from crazy bursts of energy to cuddling on your lap while making air biscuits for you!
She’s just a little over 4 months old. Circe loves companionship whether she’s with people or other animals. She doesn’t like to be alone so if you don’t already have a companion for her, please consider adopting another kitten for sweet Circe. She’s just so adorable and loving!
Mary
Mary is a beautiful calico kitten looking for her fur-ever home!
With all the lovely patterns and colors in her fur, this girl is just a delight in every way. She is about 4 ½ months old and is oh-so-sweet and affectionate.
She enjoys playing with toys. In addition, Mary would love to curl up on your lap on a chilly autumn afternoon!
Don’t miss out on the chance to adopt this exceptionally charming little kitten!
Morgan
This little girl kitten is Morgan! She is almost 3 months old and is just as cute as can be!
This tabby-striped sweetheart is a total cuddle bug, and will snuggle into you while purring up a storm! Morgan enjoys playing but really loves a good cuddle sesh.
Please consider adopting two kittens together; they really do best in pairs!
Frieda
Frieda is a fantastic kitty who loves everyone! This gorgeous silver tabby is about 4 months old, and she gets along with children, dogs, cats, chickens, goats, alpacas and horses. See?! We weren’t kitten around when we said she loves everyone!

Curow
Curious, quiet Curow is only a year old and is a total snuggle bug who just plain adores people and plays well with other dogs. This handsome boy is going to make someone so happy!
Curow walks well on a leash but gets a little excited to see what’s ahead so he pulls a bit. He has already been neutered and microchipped and his vaccinations are up to date. This boy is more than ready to get into his forever home!
Sisters Bixby & Brookly
Sisters Bixby & Brookly were abandoned under a bridge with their mom and left to survive on their own. Luckily they were rescued and are safe now. These sweet puppies are learning to be the puppies they were meant to be.
Bixby & Brooklyn were born around the beginning of February. They are available now since they have already been spayed and have received all their vaccinations. One or both can be yours forever today … come meet these cutie pies.
Clyde
One-and-a-half-year-old Clyde is the perfect mid-size boy. He’s quiet, gentle and loving; a little shy at first but warms up quickly. He likes to play with his toys, walks well on a leash and gets along with other dogs, even the little ones. He is a bit afraid of cats, however, but definitely not aggressive towards them.
Clyde’s owner said he wasn’t playful enough so they traded him in for a puppy. When he was left with us, his heart was broken, his coat thin and dull, his skin dark, he had no energy, and his tummy was upset. He was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism (which is common in dogs) and Addison’s disease (which is not so common). He has begun treatment and we can already see the improvement.
Because his doctor is fine-tuning his medication and he needs to go in for occasional tests, Clyde is available LOCALLY ONLY. That means we are only accepting applications from the Hurricane area (Washington County).
Rusty
Six-year-old, 60 lb Rusty has been through a LOT in his life. It is believed he was abandoned in a field by his previous owner (what kind of human being does that?) and evaded capture for at least eight months! Then he waited another six weeks at the pound before being rescued and sent to foster care. The boy is a survivor!
Rusty is a gentle, incredibly sweet, timid boy who is uncomfortable and wary of all things. He desperately wants human affection, love and support from people but he needs to trust them first and that doesn’t come easy to him.
Unfortunately, Rusty was never house trained but he’s learning quickly in foster care. At this time, he is cautious and a little nervous around other dogs, large and small but, with time, that should change. Rusty is pretty mellow for a Catahoula. He’s in good health, up to date on his vaccinations, neutered, and a favorite with his vet’s staff.
Kairi
Sweet Kairi loves everyone: other dogs, kids and grownups. When strolling around the neighborhood, she even seemed to be ok with cats, chickens and horses. She’s happy just hanging out, whether going out for a stroll, cruising around town in a car or snuggling next to you on the couch … as long as she knows she’s safe and loved.
Kairi is housebroken, spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. She’s also very smart and has been trained to follow several commands. This lovely lady is ready to meet her new family and start a brand new life.
