Wombat
Adopt a friendly, playful, snuggly puppy! All Best Friends puppies are already spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and infused with extra love and cuddles. They need to be taught all those good things that puppies need to learn in order to grow up to be adult dogs, of course. A puppy is a project! But there’s nothing these little ones would love more than to grow right up into your family. Wombat was born in August 2019 and came from an animal rescue group in Utah. If you’re in love, please fill out an adoption survey and get started!
Peach
Looking for a running partner? Peach has springs in her legs and can fly high and fast! She loves to run, play, and investigate everything going on around her. Originally nervous around both dogs and people, she’s progressed so quickly that she now loves meeting and playing with new friends and is gaining even more confidence and experience every day. She’s also beautiful and brilliant, having a contagious smile and a keen motivation to learn new things. She can’t wait to be someone’s partner and assist them with all of their daily routines from exercise to daily chores, she’s ready to learn, advise, encourage with her smiley and sunshiney contributions.
Barley
Barley is an outgoing little fluff ball who loves to go on adventures. His short little legs and his age have never held him back! He’s always up for romping around, rolling on his back, and simply having a grand ol’ time. Barley enjoys the company of his people friends and does very well after some relationship building. He would need his potential new family to come meet him at Dogtown to make sure it is a good fit. Although guarding has been a challenge for him, as a single dog in the home and patience from his people, he thrives! A couple of his all-time favorite things to do are playing fetch with a rotation of squeaky toys and get pets when he’s comfortable and ready.
Aesop
Aesop was born in 2005 and came to Best Friends at the age of 6 from a hoarding situation in Nevada. He wasn’t used to being around people, so he’s very shy, but he gets along beautifully with other cats. And he loves to play and bat around toys. He’s in perfect health. And if you’re drawn to him, we really hope you’ll give him that friend he’s always – shyly, reticently, but desperately–longed for.
Bradie
Bradie is so friendly! She is exceptionally snuggly and sweet but also loves to run and play. Born in August 2009, Bradie and her siblings came to the Sanctuary from a shelter in Arizona. She’s healthy and gets along great with people, dogs, and other cats. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful kitty, Bradie really needs a home to call her own.
Clark
Born in 2009, Clark loves head-scratches, chasing a laser light and mealtime. When he arrived at Best Friends in 2014 Clark was very shy and scared but he slowly gained confidence, especially after we moved him into a building with fewer cats. Now Clark is settled in, happy and has been found cuddling with one of his feline friends many times.
Clark also has an adorable little chirp noise he makes whenever he is hungry or seeking some affection. This healthy, independent, sweet, handsome boy is looking for a quiet home to live out his senior years.
RSQ Dogs+
Rocky
Rocky came to RSQ Dogs as a stray from Hildale. He appears to be about 1 year old and needs to put on a few pounds. He is sweet, friendly and gets along with other dogs. He does have that border collie energy so an active family willing to do some training and keep him busy would be a good fit for adorable Rocky.
Marshall
Marshall is approximately 2 years old with a very sweet, friendly personality. He is active, energetic, and strong. He would make a perfect hiking partner and loves to hang out in the pool. Marshall is an accomplished jumper and escape artist so a secure high fenced yard is necessary. He can be a bit dog selective but enjoys playing with dogs of equal energy levels. With the proper training and exercise, Marshall will make a wonderful addition to your home.
Avery
Wouldn’t you love to come home to this beautiful girl’s big smile? Avery is a hound/shepherd mix approximately 3-4 years old. She has a petite frame and a very sweet disposition. She knows her basic commands and walks well on a leash. She is a bit of a jumper so a well-fenced yard is important. She’d make a pretty perfect addition to any family.
Jagger
Zepplin, Jagger, and Ozzy were born around May 2019. These cute little boys are playful and love people.

She also loves to play fetch, chew on deer antlers, crunch ice, and catch her food. She loves children, other dogs, and people in general. Ozzie rides well in the back seat. Buddy
Adoptable Buddy is supervising our Center Manager and waiting for someone to come take him on a walk. Buddy is approximately 18 months old, obviously SUPER handsome, and very playful. He knows how to sit and shake and would love someone to teach him new skills. If Buddy had his druthers, he’d druther be a lap dog!! He’s great on a leash, likes to go to the dog park, and would make someone a great hiking companion. If you’d like more information about adopting Buddy, come on down to That BAM Place or text or call Julie at (435) 773-5209.
Barry
Were you widowed by a grumpy old man? Have you been looking to add another to your life since his passing? BAM has got the dog for you! In all seriousness, little Barry has good reason to be grumpy. He came to BAM with a broken pelvis from a California shelter. Since being at BAM, the poor guy has had to deal with puppies in his space, big dogs who don’t respect him an–adding insult to injury–he now has kidney stones. BAM wants the old guy to catch a break and live out the remainder of his life with someone he can find solace and love. Barry loves to rub his back on the floor and wiggle and loves to have belly rubs. He enjoys certain members of the BAM team while others simply aren’t his cup of tea. To find out more about Barry, meet him and see if he’s a match for you text or call Julie at (435) 773-5209.
Freddie
Freddie is an adorable 5-year-old chihuahua. Freddie came to BAM in very rough shape but, after gaining some weight, having surgery and a dental, he is now ready for his forever home. Freddie loves to snuggle with his humans and likes to play with toys. His foster mom recently learned he even likes to play fetch! He gets along well with small dogs but generally isn’t a big fan of big dogs. Freddie is housebroken with a dog door and is crate trained. He would prefer a quieter home without small children. To meet Freddie or find out how to adopt him, contact Julie at (435) 773-5209. His adoption fee is $125.
Butch
Butch joined the BAM family having been labeled a 17-year old dog who was likely more in need of a hospice home than typical rescue. Now that he’s in care and has been seen by their vets, they have the better assessment that he is still a senior but more likely 10–13 years old. Butch, however, has some neurological defects and impaired vision that can make him seem older. In spite of those physical issues, Butch has learned how to cope with two groups of five or more dogs in both his foster home and at their adoption center where he spends most of his days. Butch will often motor around with a funny little wobble but can see shapes or contrast well enough that he doesn’t typically bump into things. Their biggest concern for this little guy is that he ate some gravel and had to undergo surgery to have rocks removed from his system that wasn’t moving either direction. This may be something hell try to do again if unsupervised so they will be quite particular about the home he ends up in to ensure his health and well-being. To find out more about Butch, text or call Julie at (435) 773-5209. His adoption fee is $100 but Butch is also eligible for their Seniors Helping Seniors Program. If you are 65 years of age or older, ask Julie about the program.

Ness
Ness was found as a stray. He is a young dog and was thin when found. He loves to be with people and will need a high secure fence as he wants to be with you and will try to follow you. He is probably afraid he will be left alone again. He knows sit and shake and likes playing with toys. His adoption fee is $60.
Willie
Willie was on his own for a few weeks. He is a loving boy that is a little nervous in his new environment. Once he is out and about, he does great. Willie knows sit, lay down, and he walks very well on a leash. He is a strong, happy dog that loves his belly rubbed. He does well with other dogs and seems to be house-trained. His adoption fee is $60.
Ziggy
Ziggy has beautiful brindle markings. Ziggy was a stray and is very shy and nervous in his new environment. He takes a little time to know you then is super friendly and a great dog. He has been spending his afternoons and nights in a home where he can get used to that type of environment and other dogs. His adoption fee is $60.
Koda
Looking for an exercise and diet partner? Then Koda is your dog. He needs help with his continued weight loss and exercise and is really trying to get back to his ideal weight and body condition. He has lost 20 pounds since coming to the shelter, has more energy and is loving the change in himself. He loves to play, go for walks and enjoys all the attention he receives for doing so well in his new healthy lifestyle. His adoption fee is $60.
Lover
Lovers owner could no longer care for him. He is 12 years young and is quite the people cat. He likes sitting on your lap, being carried around and comes when called. He is doing well around the other cats in the room but would do best in a quiet home where he can be the center of attention. SENIOR SPECIAL Adoption fee is $20.
Izzy
She is not ready to leap across the room looking for a little chin rubbing when you arrive, but don’t be so quick to pass her by. She is a little skittish and likes to go at her own pace but make no mistake she really does enjoy the attention, just no fast moves or you will scare her off. This fine lady needs someone with some patience, who will work with her and make her comfortable with her surroundings. Izzy has been at the shelter since February. Her adoption fee is $40.
