Caine
Looking for a young, fun-loving k9 companion? Caine may just be the perfect furry friend for you! This 2-year-old athletic fella is hoping to find an adult-only household where he can really shine as a wonderful companion. Caine has a lot of energy but knows how to contain it when necessary. Caine enjoys extra cuddles and attention, car rides and long walks. He avoids pulling on his leash while walking although he will attempt to chase the occasional lizard or rabbit. Fortunately, because he’s quite person-focused, his attention is easily redirected to his handler when on leash. If the weather isn’t suitable for walking, Caine loves a good car ride and knows the etiquette of staying in the backseat. Watch your cheeks though, because he will sneak in kisses from the back seat from time to time! Caine is bound to make a great companion especially for someone with an active lifestyle looking to include a four-legged friend in their activities.
Tupi
Looking for a playful boy, look no further! Tupi currently lives with two other dogs at the sanctuary and loves to play with them. Born in November 2015, he’s now grown out of his puppy stage and is a young adult. If you’re in love, please fill out an adoption survey and get started!
Gemma
Gemma is an affectionate, spunky, and sweet girl all in a compact package! Originally from Louisiana, Gemma loves to go on walks and meet new people. Her other favorite activities include chewing sturdy toys, solving food puzzles, playing with dog friends, and sunbathing. Gemma would do best in a home that can provide structure and routine as well as affection and fun. It’s unknown if Gemma ever had a home before, but she’s learned what life is all about now and she’s waiting for a new home of her own!
Tropic
Tropic is a sweetheart. A little shy and unsure as she is new to us. She loves to be petted once you talk sweetly to her. Her purr is worth waiting for. Tropic is overcoming some odds that were not her fault. She will be one of those cats who will touch many hearts. She seeks someone who will shower her with love forever. She is FeLv+ but don’t let that stop you!
Forest
Forest is shy with all people, but he’s starting to come out of his shell. He spends less time up in the rafters than he did initially and now remains nearby when people enter the room. He loves treats and he’ll come closer if they’re offered. He no longer keeps to himself and has several cat friends and a very special cat friend named Jaime who he snuggles with. Very occasionally when Jaime is being petted Forest will slide in next to her for a brief pet and he is showing signs of wanting to allow more human contact – these two would make a great dual adoption. Born in 2013, he came to Best Friends when his person passed away. Forest is a sweet boy who’s just looking for a quiet home where he can have his own person again.
Jaime
Jaime is a sweet, mellow cat with a unique interest: She loves playing in water! A friend to humans and other cats, she is looking for a forever home with a water fountain and someone to snuggle with. Could that be your home?
RSQ Dogs+
August
August is a 7-year-old mixed breed, who is just adorable. She was rescued from a situation where she had spent her entire life living outside so living indoors is new and strange for her. Here is a recent update from her foster family: She is doing so well!! She now runs in the house with everyone else 70% of the time. I only have to carry her in on occasion. I am now able to keep the doggy door unlocked overnight as she is finally happy to sleep in the house. She is sleeping on a big smooshy dog bed rather than sleeping on the floor. She has not yet shown interest in sleeping in my bed but she’s not on the floor or outside so….win!! She loves my Dane and is fascinated with my poodle. She gets along great with every one of them. She loves treats now and gathers with everyone at treat time. She’s still a bit independent and is still a bit unsure about being loved on. She cowers at first and then enjoys it for a bit. All in all, she’s making major strides and she is a total sweetheart!” Would you like to give August the safe, loving, warm home she deserves?
At 5 months old, Asher looks like he’s going to be a big boy. He has a sweet disposition and loves to snuggle. Asher will be going to a foster family where he will be available as a foster to adopt once his vetting is complete. Please give RSQ Dogs a call if you would like to meet this adorable pup.
Miles
Mr. Miles is RSQ Dogs gorgeous blue-eyed boy. He has a lot of energy and can entertain himself for hours. He would do best as an only cat but may be able to make it work with another cat. He is house-trained. He was born sometime mid-2018.
Dave
Dave is a small, male Tabby. He is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats, dogs and/or children or alone. This sweet purring kitten is looking for his furever home.

Missy
Missy is a gorgeous blue Cane Corso/Pit blend who was very reserved when she first joined BAM but has begun to come out of her shell in foster care. They are sure this means that an adoptive home would get to see even more of her personality shine. Missy would love a person or family that she didn’t have to share with another dog. However, it may just be that she prefers to be the only girl dog in the home, so if you have a male dog and would like to introduce them, BAM can facilitate that. Missy might look tough but deep down she is just a softy that loves to give kisses and cuddles. She also loves to go on walks and car rides and gets a little sad when you leave her behind. She is very choosy on who her furry house companions are because she likes a lot of love so she does best being the only dog. However, she doesn’t mind other dogs visiting. Missy is 100% potty trained and would be best with older children because she needs a quiet environment. She is a wonderful dog who will be a great addition to someone’s family. Missy is a medium dog with a lot of muscle, so she would be a good exercise companion and it would help her stay fit too. To find out more about Missy text or call Julie at (435) 773-5209. Missy’s adoption fee is $125.
Barry
Were you widowed by a grumpy old man? Have you been looking to add another to your life since his passing? Have we got the dog for you! In all seriousness, little Barry has good reason to be grumpy. He came to BAM with a broken pelvis from a California shelter. Since being BAM’s care, the poor guy has had to deal with puppies in his space, big dogs who don’t respect him and–adding insult to injury–he now has kidney stones! BAM wants the old guy to catch a break and live out the remainder of his life with someone he can find solace and love. Barry loves to rub his back on the floor and wiggle and loves to have belly rubs. He enjoys certain members of BAM’s team while others simply aren’t his cup of tea. To find out more about Barry, meet him and see if he’s a match for you text or call Julie at (435) 773-5209.
Dom
Dom is the most lovable puppy-dog-eyed Beagle/Bassett Hound blend you’ll ever meet. This low-rider came to live at That BAM Place while suffering from Cherry Eye (it doesn’t look great but is mostly cosmetic) but that is being corrected and, after that, he’ll be ready for his new family. Dom has clearly lived in a home before and has pretty impressive manners (although he does get up on BAM’s sofa and is still working on the dog door). Though Dom doesn’t bay like a hound, he has a bit of separation anxiety at the adoption center when he has to be put in his kennel while other dogs are out. This would likely be different in a home environment and we do offer trial placements to make sure he is right for you and your home. Dom does not do well with young children. Although Dom gets along with the wide variety of dogs they have in residence with him (often napping with the smallest 6-pound dog), he would enjoy being an only dog as he prefers to be with people over dogs if given the choice. To find out more about Dom or arrange a meeting with him, contact Julie at (435) 773-5209 by texting or calling. His adoption fee is $125.
Sabrina
After being hit by a car, little Sabrina spent 8 weeks in a cast while her bones healed. She’s 10 years old but loves to adventure by car, trail, or river. Snuggles are her favorite, but she’s not a couch potato. Sabrina lives with several big dogs and enjoys their company. Never once have they heard her bark. Sabrina would be great in any home but, even with her cast off, she will still need tender care until her bones are strong. Sabrina does require daily medication for an enlarged heart but nothing stops this little dog from living life to its fullest. They are still working on house training, but the process is slow due to her broken bones. Sabrina sleeps through the night without urinating and does not urinate on the carpet but will on tile. Her cast may be at fault, and now with it removed, she’ll be more agile and move more easily. To meet Sabrina or find out more about her, contact Andrea or A.J. at (612) 756-2374. Sabrina’s adoption fee is $100 and she is also eligible for their Seniors Helping Seniors Program
