Foxy
Foxy is full of energy, a love of life, and is looking for someone who wants an energetic, happy dog to have adventures with. She would love an active home where she can be her goofy self and keep everyone around her entertained. She has lived with other dogs, but prefers people and being the center of attention so she would need a dog who is as independent as she is. She is a sweet dog who has so much love and joy to share. If you want to a lifetime of entertainment and an endless supply of joie de vivre Foxy is the dog for you!
Brandy
Brandy is a young and energetic gal who loves having fun! Just look at her smile! She gets so excited when it’s time to go walking or when a person she loves comes to visit her in her run. It’s best to take time to meet Brandy as she can be a bit unsure about new people, but once she knows your her friend, she couldn’t be happier to spend time with you whether it’s hiking, playing, or just getting loved on. Brandy would do best in a single dog household. If you think she’d be the right fit for you, ask about Brandy today!
Moe
Moe is a staff favorite at the sanctuary and it’s not hard to see why with his deeply soulful eyes and cute curly locks. But his good looks can almost be a detriment as everyone wants to meet him and give him love and pets. Moe might look like a fluffy teddy bear, but he does not want to be hugged, squeezed, or snuggled. Moe does enjoy the company of people on his own terms – let him come to you for petting and respect his choice to walk away when he’s finished. Moe absolutely loves his walks! He trots right along and enjoys all the sights and smells while checking in with his handler with his big brown eyes. He also jumps into a car easily and rides like a polite, easygoing passenger just watching out the window. Aside from walks, one of Moe’s favorite things is stuffy toys and he has quite the collection. He likes to show off his toys to his human friends, but he doesn’t really want to play fetch and instead keeps all the toys for himself! Once Moe knows and trusts a person and the person is confident at reading and understanding Moe’s body language and signals, Moe can be a total ham and goofball. He loves to roll on his back while relaxing on soft bedding, but he absolutely loves to play in the snow and roll on his back making “Moe angels” during breaks of bounding in the snow. Moe is looking for an adult-only home where he can be around people who will respect his space, signals, and boundaries. His home should be one that is experienced with dogs. Moe is twelve years old and has lived in a shelter or sanctuary for most of his life. He’s ready to settle down in a quiet home that doesn’t have a lot of visitors where he can have structure, routine, and also some fun with people he trusts. Moe likes other dogs but can be selective about who he lives with. He should meet any dogs he might be living with before going home. If you are interested in meeting Moe please contact an adoption specialist who can tell you more.
Ettie
Ettie is a petite and spunky young lady, and a talented acrobat! When you walk into the room, this sassy little girl is the first one there to greet you, hoping for attention and food. She’s playful and adventurous- she loves to climb on shoulders, go on stroller rides, and run around. Unfortunately, Ettie has Manx Syndrome, which means that she has no tail and is incontinent. If you’re willing to express her twice a day she promises to repay you with love. She loves to play with both her human and feline companions. Will you consider taking this little firecracker home with you today?
Cricket
Cricket was living as a stray on a busy street in California when a kind person rescued her and brought her to Best Friends. We estimate she was born in 2012. She is curious about people but does not want to be touched yet. She tests positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), so she will need to be an only cat or live with other FeLV cats. She has no issues getting along with other cats. She has an old fracture of her tibia that healed incorrectly causing her to limp. She is very intelligent. Cricket would do well in a quiet home with someone who is willing to take the time to build a trusting relationship.

Bella
Bella is a 1-2-year-old husky/heeler mix. She loves to play and does well with other dogs with proper introductions and loves kids!
Brownie
Brownie is an adorable, playful 2-3 years old who is great with kids. He is cautious around people but he wants affection very badly & loves his treats. He is doggie door trained & enjoys roaming his yard or just laying in the sun. Brownie likes the little dog pack at his foster mama’s (he’s not crazy about big dogs but handles quiet ones ok) and, although nervous, warms to new people with the proper introduction. He’s not a lap dog yet but, as his fear is replaced by trust, he is getting more comfortable with petting and human contact. Brownie is a sensitive little guy who just needs time, patience, and love.
Bullet
Bullet is a 10-year young chihuahua/pug mix. He is a mature, loving sweetheart who still has a lot of spunk. He’s been bounced around a bit in his 10 years during which he lost the sight in his eye but that doesn’t slow him down. He still has a lot of energy for walks & playing. He’s got a few extra pounds on him, so he’s on a strict eating plan but is ready for his new home with you. Come meet Bullet and see what a special boy he is.
May
May is ready for her forever home. This sweet momma cared for her four babies in a foster home. Now she is ready for someone to give her cuddles and playtime. She is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone.
Reuben
Reuben is quite the snuggle bug. This 2-3-year-old loves to play and lounge around. He also enjoys chin and cheek scratches. He is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone. Go meet Reuben and fall in love.

Dallas
Dallas is an adorable 1 1/2-year-old Pit Mix. She loves running, playing, hiking, and snuggles. She will do best in an adult-only home because she is scared of kids. She prefers to be an only dog with no cats. Dallas is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and spayed. His adoption fee is $125.
Jakarta
Jakarta is a 1-year-old Dilute Torti. She is a beautiful, sweet, and playful cat. She will be a great companion and lap cat. Jakarta will capture your heart if you give her a chance. Come visit her soon! Her adoption fee is $75.
Marlon
Marlon is a calm 9-year-old male Tabby. He would be great if you would rather have a chill cat in your home and life. He came from a shelter up in northern Utah. His adoption fee is $75.
Cee
Cee is approximately 1 year old and is a beautiful white and black girl. She is playful and sweet. Cee gets along with other cats at PAWS and would make a great family cat. You need to meet this one! Her adoption fee is $75.

Tux
Tux is a Border Collie mix. He is approximately 2 years old and weighs 57 pounds. Tux is an energetic dog, that is a little anxious. He prefers being with his person and is a very loving guy! He knows sit and other commands and is learning to be house-trained. He is extremely smart and gets along with most other dogs. Tux would do best with someone that is familiar with the Border Collie breed and has room for him to run. His adoption fee is $60.
Jinx
Jinx’s owner moved and could not take her with them. She is one year old, friendly, and easily handled. Jinx comes when called and is very inquisitive. Her adoption fee is $40.

Livy
Beautiful Livy is 8–9 years old and is the most loving girl ever. She is a gentle soul who takes her time / is a little on the slow-paced side and very friendly. She likes children and other dogs. Livy’s rabies vaccine is up to date and she will be receiving her distemper/parvovirus/bordetella inoculations shortly.
Bella
Pretty Bella is a rock! She’s a big goofy girl who thinks she’s little. She came to BAM a smidge overweight and will need to shed a few pounds to be as healthy as she should be. It’s hard to tell what she’s mixed with–Labrador or Rottweiler maybe but she’s a whole lot of lover girl! If you need someone to walk with or toss a ball to or just rub a tummy while you binge watch tv, she’s always ready! She may look rough and tumble but she wants to be loved on just like all the other girls. Bella gets along with other dogs but gets possessive of her toys and doesn’t always want to share so she will need to be closely monitored with her playmates.
Piper
Piper is a sweet senior girl who just wants to relax and be pampered. She is on medication for a previously untreated condition called Collie Nose and needs to be guarded from too much sun. She loves gentle kids and gets along with gentle dogs. She’s a lover girl that just needs someone to love her back.
Pepper
Sweet Pepper is a beautiful chunk of love who will go belly up for a tummy rub any time of day — except dinner time, of course. Pepper’s short snout makes it more difficult for her to tolerate hot weather, especially while exercising. It is critically important to make sure she has enough shade and water. She needs to be monitored to make sure she is not struggling to breathe. In our shelter, Pepper is cage aggressive with some of the other dogs so she would need to meet any potential playmates before adoption.
