Buford
One look at Buford’s big puppy dog eyes and you will fall in love. If you’re looking for a young, active dog, that is ready for adventure and is super cute to boot then you couldn’t ask for a better dog than Buford.
He loves to playing chase and wrestling with other dogs, tossing his toys into the air, and trying to play fetch until he gets so distracted that he ends up just doing zoomies around the yard. He is bursting with energy and has lived most of his short life in shelters so he would benefit from someone who can continue to work with him on his basic training and manners. He has guarding issues around food and handling due to a rough start in his former shelter, but he is eager to learn and please so it is easy to work with him.
Buford can’t wait to get out of here and start his life with a loving, patient family. If you are looking for adventure and want to be endlessly entertained then Buford is the dog for you!
PJ
PJ is a sweet and energetic pup who absolutely loves life. He will make a wonderful adventure buddy since long walks are one of his favorite activities. He also loves to ride in the car and will find any excuse to cuddle up to his person. He loves playing with other dogs and has a zest for life. While he is still young, he is still working on his general manners when he is excited. PJ is an amazing kid who is just waiting for his new family to come and find him.
Josh
Josh is a big goofy boy with lots of energy and lots of love to give. Josh loves attention and soft toys. He can forget how strong he is at times and be a little too enthusiastic when greeting, but he’s attentive to his people and has been enjoying working on his manners. He loves being active especially playing in water and hiking so he’d be a good partner for someone looking for an adventure buddy. Josh likes to be the center of attention so would prefer to live in a house with no other pets so he can receive all the love!
Emmalee
Emmalee is a beautiful tortie with a personality that will brighten up any room! Born in 2018, and coming to us from a shelter in California, means Emmalee loves hanging out in the sun and watching the clouds float by. Emmalee truly loves to be in the middle of everything and will always be around checking to see what everyone is up to. She is a big fan of toys, any and all of them will do for her! She will make you laugh and would be wonderful in a home with a very nurturing owner who would keep her active and engaged mentally, and be a calming influence.
Emmalee has a chronic medical condition that we would be happy to discuss with you if you are interested in taking this sweet girl home. She’s ready to bring joy to her forever home and return all the love she gives. If you think you might be a match, ask about Emmalee today.
Arancia
Arancia was born in 2007 and is an older guy who’s easygoing both with people and other cats. He is quite possibly one of the best cats ever! Arancia walks on a leash, loves to snuggle, and has the best purr ever! One of the most unique features of Arancia is his very loud purr. You can often hear him in the room next door! Arancia would be a great addition to any home.
Coffee
Coffee is a beautiful big-eyed girl who has energy for sitting in laps and purring but can also play when she’s feeling at ease in her environment. This tabby wants nothing more than a nice home with people that she can call her own – is she waiting for you?

Ricky
Ricky is a 10-12 week border collie mix puppy. This is what his foster family says about him: “Ricky is absolutely darling! He’s incredibly playful and snuggly. He loves little children, other dogs and is good with cats even when he doesn’t understand why they won’t play with him. He’s such an easy-going dog that knows how to use a doggy door and as long as he’s taken out at night doesn’t have accidents in the house. As far as puppies go we give him a 10/10. He would be a wonderful addition to any family.”

She gets around on her three legs and loves to snuggle in cat cave beds or cat huts. Gigi is a very shy cat and needs a peaceful house so she can become more trusting of humans. She is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats.
Tread
Tread has recovered from tail surgery after being struck by a car. He’s quick to purr and loves to cuddle. He’ll make a great companion. Tread is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone. Make arrangements to meet this lovable cuddly guy today!

Annabelle
Annabelle is a delightful little 6-year old soul! She is crate trained, uses a dog door, and gets along well with other dogs. She is fantastic on a leash and doesn’t mind a bath but our favorite thing about Miss Annabelle is her desire to snuggle. There is nothing quite like the look of pure affection coming from her eyes when she’s getting pets and cuddles.
Little Annabelle just had surgery to remove a couple of fatty lumps and would love to have a special someone to snuggle while she recovers. Post-surgery is a wonderful time to bond with a new pet.
Side note: We don’t know how she is with cats but she ignores her foster’s Guinea pig and is fantastic with the puppies. If you would like to arrange a meeting with Miss Annabelle to see if your lap qualifies, call or text Julie at (435) 773-5209 Tuesday through Saturday between 9 am–5 pm.
Brownie 2
Meet Brownie 2. Brownie is the deepest chocolate brown with the softest fur and most adorable tan “mustache.” And check out his cute little feet and gorgeous gold eyes. What a heartthrob!
Brownie is neutered, housebroken, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. He’s ready to go and can’t wait to find a lap of his very own into which he can settle. If you would like to arrange a meeting with Brownie to make him your newest family member, call or text Julie at (435) 773-5209 Tuesday through Saturday between 9 am–5 pm.
Barry
Barry is not a lap dog (unless he decides he wants to be). Instead, he is a grumpy boy who came to us with a broken pelvis which still causes him pain. In the year he’s been with us, Barry also suffered seizures and kidney stones. He’s on a special diet and medication for all of these things, but he’s still a grump. And we all still love him!
Since being in our care, the poor guy has had to deal with puppies and big dogs who don’t understand why he doesn’t want to roughhouse. He does get along with dogs who aren’t in his face and likes to fetch a ball as long as you don’t try to take it back from him (Barry’s rules).
Ornery as he is, Barry is kind of our mascot and we want the old guy to catch a break and live out the remainder of his life with someone he can find solace in.
Barry loves to rub his back on the floor and wiggle and loves to have belly rubs by a person of his choosing. He enjoys certain members of our team while others simply aren’t his cup of tea.
To find out more about Barry, meet him and see if he’s a match for you, text, or call Julie at (435) 773-5209.
Ace
Ace is a happy, big old pup who has no idea he’s ever been injured, has recently had major surgery, and definitely doesn’t’ know that he’s supposed to have been calm and quiet while recuperating. His vet is amazed at just how well he has done so quickly! Ace has a lot of energy and will need an active home. He would love to have a nice big yard to play in, along with regular and increasing exercise to strengthen his leg. In a few months, he’ll likely want to go on hikes and long walks. In the meantime, he loves affection and he loves to play! If he has toys and balls, he can entertain himself for long periods of time. He’d love you to throw the ball, but if you’re not available, he’s perfectly capable of throwing it for himself!! He needs to learn some manners but he is a bright boy and will learn quickly. He does tend to be toy possessive so some supervision will be needed with his doggy playmates. Ace is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and ready to go to his forever home today!!! He will need an adopter with patience and one who is willing to care for him if his leg causes him issues in the future.
To find out more about Ace, meet him and see if he’s a match for you, text, or call Julie at (435) 773-5209.
