Cambrie
Cambrie is a happy-go-lucky pup that can’t wait to shower you with doggie kisses. She is on the smaller pitty size, and her snorts make her sound just like the little pot belly big she resembles. Cambrie loves having both human and other dog friends and is always up for a wrestle and a run around with her dog pals. Cambrie has also discovered her love of napping on the couch. This girl is ready to be your adventure buddy during the day, and your movie-watching partner at night.
Larry
Are you looking for a friend who wants to go adventuring? Look no further! Larry is a goofy boy who is energetic and curious about the world. He loves being around people and will happily lean in for a good pet. On his walks, he’s sniffing out every new smell, and he’s likely to look back up at you with a dusting of sand around his nose and a happy hound smile as if to say, “Do you see what I found? Here at the sanctuary, he’s gotten along with his run mates and seems eager to make new friends. He’s still learning some basic manners, but he’s very smart and picks up on new things quickly. Larry would love to charm you with his sweet personality and be your new best friend.
Frankie
Frankie sure does garner a lot of attention when he goes out and about because of his beautiful blue eyes and merle coat! He’s quite the looker. He’s a very special kid who’s looking for an experienced dog owner who can work with his unique set of needs. Frankie is fully deaf and partially blind. So instead of communicating with him verbally we may give a thumbs up or a gentle pat to let him know he did a good job. Frankie can sometimes get frustrated or overly excited and we’re working on teaching him how to appropriately handle those situations. An adult-only home that can continue this work with him will be ideal! Frankie enjoys going on walks with other dogs and he likes to play with dogs who match his play style. However, he does need to be the only dog in the home since he’s not a fan of sharing his toys or couch space with another dog. Frankie loves going on adventures, especially if there’s water involved. But he can also be a couch potato who enjoys a good cuddle. Mostly Frankie just needs a family that can offer him patience and consistency to help him be his best self!
Highway
Highway is a very social boy and loves to talk. He can often be heard “squeaking” as he walks around greeting people, hoping they can offer him a few treats!
Highway is slightly visually impaired, but he is able to get around just fine and does not need any special accommodations. He can get startled easily if he doesn’t see a hand reaching out to pet him, but he is quick to adjust.
Highway is trying to lose a pound or two, but that doesn’t stop him from socializing in the hopes of getting a snack. He is quite the charming little guy and is always interested in hanging out to see what exciting adventures might be happening. If you are searching for a buddy who is always willing to have a great conversation, Highway may just be your perfect match!
Diego
Diego is the kind of cat that will be waiting at the door for you to arrive, and hoping that you have food! Diego will gladly sit in your lap, or follow you outside and show off climbing around outside on tree branches. His luscious coat is begging for you to pet him and he would love if you came to visit with a wand toy or some treats.
Can Diego become a part of your family?

Autumn
Have you ever seen such beautiful blue eyes? Two-year-old Autumn has to be one of the most social girls we’ve ever had at BAM! She loves everyone, especially kids, romps with the other dogs, even the puppies, tears up her stuffed toys (oops — be sure to supervise), walks well on or off a leash, and then climbs into your lap for a belly rub. And she will melt your heart with those gorgeous Catahoula eyes!
Autumn was brought to us for killing chickens when someone let them into her yard. That isn’t too surprising since Catahoulas are bred to work, hunt and guard, yet still, be good with children. Her mom said she was perfect in every way, other than the birds, and possibly rabbits.
Autumn is up to date on her vaccinations, microchipped, spayed, crate trained, housebroken, and smart! She knows come, sit, out, wait, and crate. We at BAM all just love her!
Baby
Baby is a super sweet girl! She’s eight to ten years old and loves attention, lots of pets, and belly rubs, and just wants to be near her person. She especially likes men!
Although usually good with other dogs, she can be snippy with them sometimes if they get too close and may do best without siblings–she’s used to not having to share her people. She is starting to play with toys, or at least tear their stuffing out and, when the mood strikes her, she also enjoys a ball or bone. She’s a funny little munchkin.
Baby is house trained and likes to sleep close at night, sometimes under the covers. She looks forward to going on walks and loves visiting with neighbors. Baby would be a great addition for someone who is home a lot or at least able to take her with them when they go out. She’s been bounced around too much and it takes a bit for her personality to blossom but she has lots of love to give and would do anything for her very own forever home!
Sunshine
Olive and Zenith, Sunshine’s sisters have found their homes. Only Sunshine is still looking … What an oversight!
Sunshine is a beautiful, loving girl with piercing eyes who loves getting belly rubs and giving puppy kisses. She’s a beautiful rough coat chi mix, approximately 1-2 years old and about 20 lbs. She has the most gorgeous light eyes. She is timid but warms up quickly. She is extremely affectionate and wants to be a lap dog. She is still learning the many rules of being an inside dog but is starting to understand and she’s already housebroken and knows the doggy door.
Mikko
“Mikko” (pronounced Mick O), Hebrew for God, is a lovely gentleman who enjoys short walks and hanging out with other dogs, especially little ones. He’s an absolute lover boy and bonds quickly with everyone
Mikko will be having a mass removed from his leg soon and will be available for adoption once it’s done. He’s neutered, microchipped, housebroken, up-to-date on his vaccinations, and ready to move to his new forever home.

She’s around a year old, smart, housebroken, knows basic commands, gets along with other dogs, and is as sweet as she can be!
