Bunny
Bunny is a beautiful brindle girl with soulful eyes. For a senior girl, she is fairly active. Bunny loves to go on walks and outings. She is great on a leash! She loves to play with toys and is good with most dogs. Bunny is sensitive and needs someone who is patient and willing to earn her trust. She would make a great companion for someone with a reliable routine. Once she is comfortable with you, she gets very happy and excited to see you. She loves getting pets from her friends! Since Bunny takes some time to make new friends, she does require adopters to come to the Sanctuary and meet her.
We would love for this sweet senior dog to find her forever home. Come and meet this wonderful girl, we know you will fall in love! She even has a generous sponsor who has covered her adoption fee!
Halpert
Doesn’t Halpert look like a teddy bear? No one can resist his puppy dog eyes and scruffy fluffy coat. Halpert is a clever boy; he knows how to open doors and is constantly solving problems (So ummm…. being able to keep the house secure with doors closed tight is important!) He also loves food, playing in the kiddie pool, and entertaining himself with toys – he likes to hide them to discover later! Halpert does take time to trust new people, so a low-traffic adult home where he’s the only dog would be ideal. He just needs your calm patience. But if you can give him that, then he would love to be your teddy bear. Ask about Halpert today!
Gunner
Meet Gunner! This boy loves his toys and all things soft. You can catch him napping in a pile of fluffy blankets with his teddy in his arms. He will also love to find a pool of his own to spend the day splashing around!
Gunner would do best in an adult-only home and as your only love too. He just wants to be the only spoiled pet in your family.
Gunner has great manners, he know sit, down, shake. He is eager to learn and loves training. He also makes for a great hiking and walking friend! Adventure is his middle name!
Contact our Adoptions Team today to see if Gunner is a good fit for your home!
Peyton
Peyton has opened up and loves to be petted and loved. He is stunning, his luscious fur and beautiful blue eyes will touch your heart. Please come meet him today.
RSQ
RSQ is a non-profit animal rescue in St. George, Utah. Our mission is to be a voice for the voiceless, bettering the lives of animals in Utah’s rural communities. All the animals in our care are fully vetted including spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, and any medical care they may need before adoption. We are open for walk-in visitors on Thursdays, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. For more information on RSQ and our adoptable animals, please contact RSQ at (800) 897-1136 or visit rsqutah.org.
Willow
Willow is our newest RSQ dog! She’s about an 8-week-old Cattle Dog mix and a great mix of playful puppy and snuggly companion. She loves stroller rides and dinner time. Give us a call and make arrangements to come in and meet adoptable Willow today!
Bolt
“Can Anybody Find Me Somebody to Love”? Bolt was adopted from us a few years ago and was returned as his prior owner was unable to spend as much time with him as he wanted. This big bundle of love is learning to trust again and needs someone who will invest their time to train him. He will be the perfect exercise partner! His foster family loves him to pieces, but he is startled often and not cut out for close apartment living. He loves kids and longs for a family with room for him in their hearts, backyard, and bed. He puts himself to bed at 9 pm every night and is happy to stay there until you call him for breakfast! And he’s house-trained. Come see if you can make Bolt the happiest dog on earth and provide him a safe and loving home.
Daisy
Daisy has been returned to RSQ as her previous owner was unable to care for her anymore. She is a very smart dog and full of fun but will need an experienced and committed handler to provide a loving forever home for her. She will need a home where she can be the only dog (no cats either) and one without small children. Once she gains your trust, Daisy is a very affectionate and loving dog. She rides great in the car and is house trained. Going on a hike or walk is her favorite activity. Her adoption will come with a high-valued, paid for training program that will help her learn to build relationships and set her up for success in her new home. The adoption is conditioned on her new owner agreeing to be part of this training process. Inquire with RSQ for more information on this great girl!
Earl Grey
Did someone say crumpets? You’ll already have your tea if you adopt me! My name is Earl Grey, and I can’t wait to be in a home. You see, I was on the streets and a friendly human was feeding me, but I was attacked by a dog. Fortunately, only my tail was injured and it’s healing nicely. RSQ has improved my life and now I can improve yours if you adopt me, Earl Grey. I am a very sweet fella. And I’m house-trained.
Iris
Meow! My name is Iris, and I would love for you to come to see me at RSQ so we can talk about my adoption and anything else you want to talk about. I just love talking and I’m very friendly. I’ll make the best companion. And I’m house-trained. Hope to see you soon.
Doreen
Doreen is a sweet cuddle bug that loves to sprawl. She is a bit people shy and can be a little feisty at times. She takes a minute to warm up to people but once she does, she is a major cuddle bug that loves to sprawl out next to or on you. She is not a complete couch potato kitty as she also loves to run around and pounce playfully on other kitties. She has not been around dogs and would prefer a home with some chill people preferably not little kids. And she is house-trained.

She can be met by appointment only so be sure to submit an application at stgeorgepaws.org/adopt.
Killian
Killian is a 4-month-old Cattle Dog Mix. This guy is one sweet dog! He loves other dogs, playing, adventures and snuggles. He’s a darling kid who’s going to be a stunning adult. He’s ready for all adventures and looking for a loving home. Come in and meet this boy soon!
Orion

Sam and Seth
Sam and Seth are 1-year-old brothers with hilarious, funny characters. They love to play and jump on your shoulder and hang out. They get along with other cats and will be sure to keep you entertained and laughing. They are young and still growing into their BIG personalities. If you’re looking to adopt 2 cats, this is the month to do it. We have a donor that is paying all adoption fees for cats 1 year or older. The adoption process remains the same so get your applications in for these great loving boys!
Dylan

Stella
Hi, I am Stella. I love going for walks, playing in the yard, and playing with my chew toys. I’m just an all-around great gal and I just want to show you all the love I can give. I have lots of energy and tons of life and love to give my new people! We will need to work on some house training and I will give it my best.
I am a very sweet, gentle gal who would love nothing more than a home of my very own. Bonus! I’ve been told I have a delightful personality and that I’m very loving. She would probably be best as an only dog unless there were proper introductions and get acquainted time with another dog. We know she had a home at one time but lost it when the family moved. My adoption fee is $60.
Milo
Are you looking to live large? Then, let us introduce you to Milo! This beautiful brown brindle and white mastiff is a belly-rub-loving, people-adoring, attention-craving charmer! He has a big head and a big heart, which makes him hard to miss and hard to resist. What a big marshmallow! Milo will come right up to anyone and lean into them to get as close as possible to get a big hug. He’s an affectionate goofball who lives life to the fullest. Because of his size, he is going to do best in a home without young children. He does not always get along with other dogs. Milo would do better as the only dog in the home. His adoption fee is $60.
Leah
This lovely girl is just a hoot. Leah loves running, playing, and is full of energy. She was mainly raised outdoors. She knows basic commands like sit and paw. She loves playing with toys and can definitely entertain herself with them. Her coat markings are very pretty and the facial expressions she makes are priceless. She would do best in a home that is going to stay active with her and give her work/play to do. We know that she is going to make a home very happy! Her adoption fee is $60.
Cocoa
My name is Cocoa. I love to run, I love to play, and anything active just makes my day!. Making sure I get plenty of exercise and furthering my manners training will go a long way in helping me keep from making you dizzy from all my energy. I might do best in a home with children big enough to handle my exuberant spirit and zest for, well, EVERYTHING! If you’re looking for a running, hiking, biking, or agility (maybe flyball?) partner, I am SO your man. My adoption fee is $60.
Stevie Nicks
Do you want to live large- then Stevie Nicks is waiting at the shelter for you. Mustache and goatee make the perfect markings for this senior lady.
Stevie Nicks loves having her neck scratched and she’ll purr away to let you know when you’re doing it right! This pretty lady has some extra weight to lose and would love to go to a home where his people will help her work on this.
Are you looking to give an older kitty a second chance in life? She has a sweet spot for people who love to sit quietly and read or watch TV. She is a mellow girl and can be found taking an afternoon snooze on her favorite spot and would make a wonderful companion for a lazy afternoon nap. Do you know anyone looking for a nap partner? Maybe you? Her adoption fee is $40.
Shadow & Smokey
Shadow & Smokey are two boys looking for a home together! These handsome fellows were surrendered by their owner due to a change in life circumstances, and they’re anxious to get back to a home environment. We’ve always been together, and we like to cuddle with one another and with our people. Sweet, but shy, we may take a little time to warm up at first, mostly because we’re not sure why we’re here. But once we’re comfortable with you, we turn on the charm. We’re hoping for a quiet home where we can sit on the sofa with you and warm up your bed. Spend some time with us so you can see how great we truly are. The adoption fee is $40.
Kitters
Kitters came to the shelter after his owner passed away. He is very friendly and loves attention. He was treated to a spa day with a shave and bath and is ready for summer weather. He is ready for another loving home and a second family. Kitters has a special senior animal adoption rate of $20.

Nick
Nick is a beautiful 61 pound neutered male Malamute mix with classic Keeshond markings. He is 7.5 years old, is non-aggressive, and is timid in his demeanor. He will bond closely with a single person but is friendly with all who live in the household. He is good with other dogs and cats and barks only when a new person is in the house or yard. His tail was removed two years ago because of a tumor but he’s fine now. He’s recently been groomed and had a dental so he’s good to go!
Nick likes routine. He walks well once he is familiar with the route. He likes to be both inside and outside, knows how to use a doggie door, and is house trained. If he is the only dog, you can free-feed him; he eats what he wants and leaves the rest for later. Nick likes to sleep in the bedroom on the floor. He doesn’t jump on furniture. He is mild-mannered when giving him a bath and is not afraid of the dryer. He is not very good in the car; if taking him to the vet or groomer he needs to be kenneled or have someone sit with him in the back seat, paying attention to him.
The best family for Nick is a retired couple or individual who likes to chill at home. Frequent travelers are not a good match for him.
Koko
Koko has a sweet personality and is pretty chill. She enjoys playing with other dogs at the dog park and going on morning and nightly walks (although her hound dog nose slows her down stopping to smell anything interesting). If she gets off her leash, she will run: she is so happy to be free and smelling EVERYTHING! She loves tug-o-war and playing with her toys, especially the squeaky ones, and rarely chews up anything she isn’t supposed to even though she is still just a puppy.
Koko is pretty mellow during the day but if she doesn’t get energy out she will get hyper at night. She is crate trained but loves sneaking into bed with the kids. She can sit and shake and rings the bells or barks when she wants to go out. She is good with cats (until she wants to play and they don’t). She is good with people and loves little kids but will jump on them to play so she would do better with children eight years old and up. She LOVES a good head, neck, or shoulder massage but may be the only dog ever to not like having her back or rear scratched!
Koko would benefit from consistent training by someone who has experience with hounds. She is an inside dog and needs an adopter who won’t plan on keeping her outside. She can be very vocal at the dog park but rarely barks at home. She will dig holes in the yard if she gets bored and, if permitted to dig in the sand, will be in doggy heaven! And, in case she gets muddy, she is not bad at taking baths.
Barry
Barry is not a lap dog (unless he decides he wants to be). Instead, he is a grumpy boy who came to us with a broken pelvis which still causes him pain. In the year he’s been with us, Barry also suffered seizures and kidney stones. He’s on a special diet and medication for all of these things, but he’s still a grump. And we all still love him!
Since being in our care, the poor guy has had to deal with puppies and big dogs who don’t understand why he doesn’t want to roughhouse. He does get along with dogs who aren’t in his face and likes to fetch a ball as long as you don’t try to take it back from him (Barry’s rules).
Ornery as he is, Barry is kind of our mascot and we want the old guy to catch a break and live out the remainder of his life with someone he can find solace in.
Barry loves to rub his back on the floor and wiggle and loves to have belly rubs by a person of his choosing. He enjoys certain members of our team while others simply aren’t his cup of tea.
Lady
Still a baby herself at only 1-1/2 years old, sweet Lady has been the best mom ever since she came to BAM with seven two-day-old puppies. Her babies are weaned and going to new homes and now Lady is looking for her very own person to play with and spoil her rotten.
Lady is a gentle, smart, good-natured goofball who loves to play with people and other dogs (she does not, however, care for cats). She’s the perfect companion! Once she’s been spayed, the adoption will be final and this amazing girl will be yours forever.
Lady’s Puppies
Meet some of Lady’s wonderful puppies Tramp, Mochi, and Scooter. If you’re interested in any of the puppies, stop by that BAM Place Tuesday–Saturday between 9 am–5 pm, or submit a BAM Adoption Application and, if approved, we’ll contact you as soon as possible to arrange a meeting. If you don’t hear back within 7 days, please text us at (435) 773-5209.
Poppy
Poppy is a complicated girl who is both sweet and sassy. She would prefer a quiet home without small children where she is the only dog or maybe has one other small dog friend. Poppy is housebroken using a doggy door and gets along with her foster’s small dogs but is a loner.
Poppy is approximately 7-8 years old. She was rescued from a life on the streets of Phoenix and is still cautious, exhibiting some defensive behaviors but really wants to trust and love! She asks for belly rubs and neck pets but these must be given on her terms.
Poppy can be picked up and held if needed but she is not yet a lap dog. She fears having a leash or harness put on her but loves her walks! Because Poppy is HIGHLY treat motivated, patient training will likely be successful. She will require an experienced adopter with a slow, steady training protocol, lots and lots of repetition, and lots and lots of treats to help her overcome her fear and aggressive behavior.
Roxy
Roxy needs a playmate! This girl is so affectionate, full of life, and smart, smart, smart!!! She wants nothing more than get outside and play ball, tug, you name it–she just wants to play!
Unfortunately, life changes didn’t allow pretty Roxy to stay with her family and she has to be re-homed. She’s a wonderful girl (did we mention that she’s smart?) who needs someone with an active lifestyle and time to help develop her mind. She would probably be a great agility dog, frisbee fetcher, and/or running/hiking partner. And once she’s worn you out, she’ll snuggle up to you on the couch for cuddles and cookies. (Exercise and cookies- you can’t lose!) And can you imagine gazing into those gorgeous eyes every day?
