Jackson
Jackson is a friendly guy who enjoys hanging out with people and taking walks on the Dogtown trails. Jackson rides nicely in the car. When he’s not out and about, you might find him playing with toys. If you’d like to meet Jackson, please fill out an adoption application today.
Zion
Zion is a senior guy who would enjoy a couch of his own. He needs time and patience to be comfortable with new people; it will talk multiple walks and interactions with him until Zion is comfortable enough to go home with you. He enjoys slow-paced walks, car rides, swimming in pools, and playing with his toys. Zion needs to be the only animal I’m the home. If you think you have room in your heart for Zion, please contact an adoption coordinator today
Trinity
Once Trinity warms up to you, which happens fairly quickly, she is very affectionate. She loves to be around people and to lean in for cuddles and pets, and it doesn’t take her long to get attached. She loves to play with people too. At the dog park, she would rather follow the person she’s with than explore the park on her own.
Trinity walks great on a leash and rides nicely in the car. She responds well to positive reinforcement and is quite smart. Although she can be slightly nervous when new people enter her space, she does greet people well.
Trinity was born in 2014. Due to a history of aggression toward other dogs, she should be a single dog in a home with no other animals, including cats. She already knows basic training cues such as ‘sit’ and ‘down’ and is doing training with Dogtown caregivers to reduce her reactivity to other dogs while on walks. She’s also working on crate training and muzzle training. Currently, she eats a prescription diet and takes medication for an enlarged heart.
Trinity will be a great companion in a home where she can be someone’s one and only. Trinity has a generous sponsor who has covered her adoption fee.
Lizzie
Lizzie is a friendly girl looking for a heart to win. Her ideal home would have plenty of love to give, lots of comfy beds to sleep on, and wouldn’t mind giving her rides on their shoulders from time to time. Lizzie can coexist well with other cats, though she wouldn’t mind all of your attention to herself either. This girl is the ideal blend of affectionate and independent – every kitty lover’s dream! Contact our adoption team today if you think Lizzie could be your perfect match.
Gulliver
Gulliver came to us in 2018 all the way from NY! Even though he is approaching his senior years don’t let that fool you, he’s still as playful as a kitten. He loves his wand toys, playing with his roommates, and snuggling with both human and feline friends, and his favorite spot is your lap! This sweet boy has Manx which makes him urinary incontinent so he will need to be expressed twice a day but that doesn’t stop him from enjoying the best life has to offer. If you are willing to give this beauty a chance you will not be disappointed, you will surely fall in love with him as we have!
Jinksies
If you are looking for a cat that loves laps look no further. Jinksies wants nothing more than to be around his human and to sit in your lap all day long. His favorite activity is going on harness or stroller walks so he can explore his surroundings. He does get along with his feline roommates but also enjoys his own space. He needs some help expressing his bladder twice a day but don’t let that sway your decision on bringing this perfect gentleman home. He will bring so much joy into your life, you won’t know how you lived without him!

Tavi
Tavi is a gorgeous Treeing Walker Coonhound. Known to be a vocal breed, sweet Tavi has plenty to say! Tavi is a happy hiker when he gets to know his people. “Trust” is something coveted by Tavi, but once you have his, he is perfection! This poor guy was living outside until new caretakers contacted us to give him a new lease on life. He is learning the joys of living inside and having people to love. Tavi is friendly, affectionate, gentle, smart, and curious and would be good in a home with other dogs or alone. He will need patience but will reward you with plenty of return affection. Come meet Tavi today!
Richard

Richard is friendly, funny, athletic, and independent. Come meet our sweet friend at our Thursday Open House.
Chex
Chex is a 6-month-old STAR OF THE SHOW. He is a ham if we ever knew one. He vies for your complete attention and is always down to exchange affection. He has plenty of energy to play for hours and has a great desire to love you. He is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone. Not knowing the meaning of shy in the littlest, Rex could easily be leash trained and make a great companion for unorthodox activities.
Arlo
Handsome Arlo is hoping to find someone who will play with him and give him lots of affection. This youngster is spunky and somewhat independent. Arlo is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone. He’s a little shy but with time and love he will become a faithful pet.
Eden
This adorable young cat longs for a loving home. Eden has a sweet disposition but is a solitary cat. She enjoys head scratches and cuddling. Eden is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone. She will bring happiness and bliss to your home.

Jacob
Hey guys! My name is Jacob. I am a very inventive boy and I can turn any ordinary day into an adventure. I would be thrilled to accompany my new pet parents on their athletic pursuits and outdoor adventures.
I am always on the go, so I hope you are active like me! I would like to go on runs, hikes, or long walks in the neighborhood. I’m a lovable companion seeking a special home where I’ll be a cherished member of the family. With bright eyes and a precious face, I have a beautiful personality to match.
Hulk
Hulk is very friendly and curious. He loves to smell around and explore his surroundings. He also enjoys his time in the sun and is also very calm. He’ll make a perfect friend in any home. Hulk is a faithful, friendly, affectionate dog. He loves attention and petting.
He knows how to “sit”, and shake and does well on a leash. He loves to play with balls. Hulk is a calm dog, is always longing for attention – he would be a great companion! Hulk needs plenty of exercise to help him get rid of that winter weight and be in perfect summer bathing suit shape.
Junior
Junior is a very smart and loving dog, he loves being the center of attention. He is very shy but enjoys spending time with everyone. He does tend to get jealous when someone else is getting attention so a home where he could be the focus would allow him to flourish.
I would be very happy to meet you and come to live with you. I am going to need lots of exercise and I am a little high energy when I first get outside but then I calm down and really soak up the lovin’ & attention that I am given. Ya know, a guy can’t pass up attention.
Bella
Hi, I’m Bella, and I have just one question for you: Do you have a ball? It can be a tennis ball or a big squishy ball or really any kind of spherical object that I can gleefully fetch before happily romping around with it in my mouth. I will bring it back to you, drop it, and bark so you know I am ready for you to throw the ball again.
Whether you’re looking for a jogging partner or a hiking companion or someone to tug on the other end of a rope with you, I’m your girl (and a pretty one at that, so I’m told). I would do best in a home with older children and no other pets, please.
Oreo
Anything for Love! With her affectionate nature and wiggling hips, it’s easy to see that Oreo adores people. A big, strong girl, she’d probably do just fine with older kids. She does well on a leash, walks with a loose lead, and waits for you if you stop without pulling. But she wants to please people so much that she should be a quick study.
Oreo is ready to give her heart and soul to whoever adopts her. If you’re looking for a devoted dog, please consider giving Oreo the chance to be your best friend forever. Oreo is two years old.
Nike
Super-friendly, with lots of energy, and really bright – that’s Nike! She loves meeting new people because she’s hoping one of them will take her home. The thought of having a real family is almost too much for her to handle.
She gets giddy with excitement, wiggling and hopping around. Never overwhelming, though, Nike has just the right amount of energy for the typical active family. She’d make a great hiking or jogging buddy. And smart? She already seems to understand sit and down. She shows a good, healthy interest in other dogs.

Black cats are often overlooked but they are some of the most beautiful cats. Mick will make a great companion or family cat. Stop in and meet him and all the other beautiful and handsome cats!

Bing and Chunk
Brothers Bing and Chunk were surrendered together and have rarely been apart since they were born 2 years ago and, although we would love for them to be adopted together, we think they’ll be fine separately.
Bing, named for his beautiful Bing Crosby eyes, is energetic, playful, and loves to chew (antlers and durable toys preferred). He also enjoys cuddling and giving kisses. Bing has some fear of riding in cars and freezes up and doesn’t want to get in. However, after just a few trips to the dog park with our fabulous volunteers, he’s already becoming more relaxed and has a great time once he gets there. Trips to other fun places should help him continue with his progress.
Chunk is a big softie who, as his name suggests, loves his food and very much looks forward to mealtime but he does fine eating with other dogs and has never shown any food aggression. He loves his snacks!
Both pups are good with other dogs, cats, and kids and will make a great addition to an active family. As puppies, Bing and Chunk may do better with older children who will make sure not to leave toys laying around. (Did we mention both do love to chew and will need supervision since they will swallow toys if allowed.) Both Bing and Chunk would benefit from some training as they can jump and be mouthy when excited and haven’t had much experience walking on a leash. They need a loving family with room to play and time to help socialize them.
Crimson and Clover
Born September 21st, these sweet puppy sisters are available as foster to adopt until spayed on January 17th at which time their adoption will be completed and either pup will be all yours. They display normal puppy behaviors so will need all of the normal training. As with all BAM dogs, their adoption fee includes vaccinations, spaying & a microchip!
Maui
At just a year and nine months, Sweet Maui is a wonderful boy who, unfortunately, was still too much puppy for his previous older doggie brothers.
Maui is neutered, housebroken, crate trained, microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations, and knows basic commands … WOW!. He loves playing with other dogs and kids but jumps when he gets excited so may do better with older children.
Flynn is a four-year-old McNab (or Decker Hunter) Terrier/Border Collie mix. He’s been with his last person since he was a puppy and has been well-loved but his owner could no longer provide him with the care and attention he needs and sadly brought him to us.
Flynn gets along well with other dogs and is well-socialized with people (including children) but hasn’t yet been tested with cats. He loves a good game of tug or a puzzle feeder to encourage his curiosity.
Flynn
Flynn is a picky eater and guards his food. For some reason, he is afraid of delivery trucks and some men. Unfortunately, this breed sheds more than most so his new adopter will need to be prepared.
A quick Google search on this breed shows they are affectionate, inquisitive, loving, alert, lively, active, intelligent, fearless, and playful dogs who tend to have separation anxiety when their owners leave them alone at home because they bond very closely with them.
Quincy
Although she isn’t doing the full husky howl yet, baby Quincy is already very talkative and she has plenty of important things to say.
Born May 31st, she’s almost … but not quite … house trained. She loves water and would be so happy with an adopter who doesn’t mind snuggling a wet girl! She has fun with dogs of all sizes and even gets along with cats!
Quincy’s going to make a great family dog but her puppy teeth are razor sharp and she likes to bite so she should be fully supervised around kids. She needs lots of chew toys until those big-girl teeth come in.
