Lucy
Lucy is a sassy, mid-size girl who loves a bath in a bucket. But what girl doesn’t? When she’s not playing, she can be found happily walking nicely on a leash, running, swimming, going to the park, and chewing on tough toys. This athlete is also obedient and smart – she knows how to “roll over”, “sit,” “down,” “come,” and “stay.”
Lucy loves her people but will do best as the only pet in an adult home only and will need slow introductions to strangers or visitors in the home. Lucy checks every box, described as affectionate, curious, and very sweet. What more could you want in a best friend? Ask about Lucy today!
Bravo
Don’t let that stern expression fool you, Bravo is a sweet, lovable, cuddle bug! Be prepared for him to snuggle up next to you on the couch. Up for any adventure, he loves car rides, long walks, and hikes in the park. This smarty pants already knows many commands including sit, stay, wait, lay down, come, drop, and leave it. Bravo is a fast learner who would love to be challenged with new commands or fun games. He will thrive in a home where he can stretch his legs and get plenty of mental and physical stimulation.
Bravo has had a rough past and it takes time to build a relationship with him, but he is fiercely loyal once you have earned his trust. He can be protective at times and prefers to be handled only by his closest friends but will always look to you for guidance. Bravo would prefer to be the only animal in the home as he is not yet comfortable around other dogs. If you are looking for a loving and loyal companion, then ask us about adding Bravo to your family!

Flynn
Flynn is a four-year-old McNab (or Decker Hunter) Terrier/Border Collie mix. He’s been with his last person since he was a puppy and has been well-loved but his owner could no longer provide him with the care and attention he needs and sadly brought him to us.
Flynn gets along well with other dogs and is well-socialized with people (including children) but hasn’t yet been tested with cats. He loves a good game of tug or a puzzle feeder to encourage his curiosity.
Flynn is a picky eater and guards his food. For some reason, he is afraid of delivery trucks and some men. Unfortunately, this breed sheds more than most so his new adopter will need to be prepared.
A quick Google search on this breed shows they are affectionate, inquisitive, loving, alert, lively, active, intelligent, fearless, and playful dogs who tend to have separation anxiety when their owners leave them alone at home because they bond very closely with them.
Koda
Beautiful Koda is sweet, shy, and friendly. She is 1 1/2 years old. She knows the commands “come”, “sit”, and “down” and is also housebroken and crate trained. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. All she needs is a new family.
We were told she is fearful of men and may be destructive if left alone in the house due to her anxiety but we haven’t witnessed this behavior at the adoption center. Just in case, she needs a patient adopter with experience with this kind of behavior. She gets along with other dogs as long as they aren’t too overwhelming and is good with kids. She loves to be petted!
Dash
Some Native American cultures believe having heterochromia (one blue eye and one brown) means one can see heaven and earth at the same time. They refer to this as having Ghost Eyes and beautiful Dash definitely has them. And if his eyes don’t melt your heart, his cute little nose will! Not only is he stunning, but he’s also a total love bug who will melt right into your arms.
Dash was dumped at Parowan Gap and lived on his own for at least two weeks. One of the local families put food out for him until he became brave enough to be coaxed inside where he immediately found the couch. He was good with their kids and dogs.
Dash is young (we’re guessing six months to a year) and has a lot of energy. He likes to play with other dogs but can be enthusiastic so he’ll do best with some training. He’s afraid of loud noises and sudden movements and terrified of water from a hose. Who knows what this sweet boy went through before he was left to fend for himself? He deserves so much better.
Mercy
Nine-year-old Mercy is a well-mannered girl who would make a nice companion for an individual or a low-key couple. She likes to go for walks or have an enclosed backyard space to run around in and explore but, like most of our canine friends, she prefers the comfort of indoors to come back to when she’s done.
Mercy is kennel trained, enjoys her naps, and likes being the only pet in the house. She’s housebroken and loves the option of a doggie door if provided. Mercy will sit, shake and lie down on command (most of the time). She doesn’t jump on furniture unless invited. She doesn’t jump up on people. She’s polite at feeding time. She’s a sweetheart!
Mercy needs to be food rationed (smaller amounts) or may eat until she gets sick. We’ve found three small meals a day works well for her. She also may have an allergy to chicken.
