At Red Cliff Gallery, January brings America on the Road, an expansive exhibition featuring more than 55 local artists and over 125 new works. The show runs January 9 through February 5, with photography by Dorothy Mildice highlighted as the featured artist. The exhibit is free to attend, and all artwork is available for purchase. Red Cliff Gallery is located at 220 N. 200 E. in St. George, with gallery hours Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM and Saturday from noon to 4 PM.

Across town, Arrowhead Gallery features Brooke Zitting as its January artist. The gallery is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11 AM to 6 PM and Friday and Saturday from 11 AM to 8 PM, and is located at 68 E. Tabernacle in St. George.

In addition to exhibitions, the Southern Utah Art Guild continues its CONNECT program, sponsored by the Utah Arts Alliance. CONNECT offers new and emerging Utah artists, as well as established artists, an opportunity to have their work critiqued in a supportive setting. The January CONNECT meeting will take place January 8 from 6 to 8 PM at a new location, The Social Hall, 212 Main St., with Colleen Gianatiempo serving as host.
