All Southern Utah Art Guild events are free and open to the public.
Red Cliff Gallery’s current March show, Close to Home, continues through March 26 and features 155 artworks by 65 artists. Cheryl Sache is the featured artist. Red Rock Writers, the St. George chapter of the Utah State Poets Society, are also exhibiting poems inspired by selected paintings in the show, creating a collaboration between visual art and poetry.
Red Cliff Gallery is located at 220 N. 200 E., St. George. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM and Saturday from noon to 4 PM.
Arrowhead Gallery’s featured artist for March is Diane Cliff. Her work focuses on pieces designed to harmonize with architecture and interior design. She incorporates original acrylic paintings on canvas, paper, metal and mixed media to enhance interior environments.
Arrowhead Gallery is located at 68 E. Tabernacle Street, St. George. Hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 11 AM to 6 PM and Friday and Saturday from 11 AM to 8 PM.
The Guild’s Connect program, sponsored by the Utah Arts Alliance, offers new, emerging and established Utah artists an opportunity to have their work critiqued by host Colleen Gianatiempo. The session takes place March 26 from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Social Hall, 212 N. Main Street.
Meet + Mingle, another Guild program, features artist demonstrations, critiques and networking opportunities. The March gathering will be held March 17 at 3:30 PM in the Arrowhead Gallery building, upper level.
