Southern Utah Art Guild’s January Events
The Southern Utah Art Guild would like to invite you to four art events in January at the Red Cliff and Arrowhead Gallery.
Art Walk: Friday, January 3, is the Art Walk from 5 PM to 8 PM in the St. George downtown district. Enjoy art galleries, art exhibits, music and fine dining. Arrowhead Gallery and the Tilted Kiln as well as many other galleries, restaurants and retail shops will be open. Many shops and restaurants will be offering promotions during the event. Red Cliff Gallery will be closed until January 10, 2025, to get ready for the “Up, Up and Away” art show.
Red Cliff Gallery: Enjoy the work of local artists with over 100 new works of art at our “Up, Up and Away” art show on display at the Red Cliff Gallery, 220 N 200 E, St. George, Utah. The show starts on Jan 10 thru February 13. Gallery hours are M-F 9 AM to 5 PM and Sat 12 noon to 4 PM. The Photographs of Ilene Bandringa will be featured artist during the show.
Arrowhead Gallery: Arrowhead Gallery’s featured artist for January is Don Tate. Don specializes in colored pencil work of various types doing realistic scenes, people, animals, etc. while emphasizing southern Utah and its landscapes. Hours are from Tuesday through Thursday 11 AM to 6 PM and Friday and Saturday 11 AM to 8 PM, 68 E. Tabernacle in St. George.
Clay Con West 2025: The Tilted Kiln and the Southern Utah Art Guild are sponsoring Clay Con West 2025 at the Dixie Convention Center, 1835 South Convention Center Drive, Saint George, UT 84790 from January 17, 2025 at 8 AM till January 19, 2025 at 5 PM. Red Cliff Gallery will have two Guild members, Anita Gardner and Georgia Ryan that are part of the event showcasing their work at Red Cliff Gallery until Jan 19.

The Southern Utah Art Guild offers many opportunities to the artist such as free art classes and workshops, free vendor events, opportunities to participate in many of the Red Cliff Gallery art shows, and opportunity to be a permanent artist in the Arrowhead Gallery.
