The Rockville Bridge lecture presented by Richard Kohler, Washington County Historical Society president, will discuss the historic and architectural significance of this great bridge. Doors open for this lecture at 5:30 p.m., and the talk begins at 6 p.m. Join the community for this free history lesson on a prized landmark of Southern Utah at the Rockville Community Center Thursday night.
St. George Musical Theater presents their performance of “My Fair Lady.” This musical tells of an acclaimed professor and bachelor taking a “gutter snipe” into his hands and molding her into a duchess of the people. This performance begins Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. and continues running every Thursday through Saturday and on Mondays until May 7 at the St. George Opera House. The Art Around the Corner 2016–2017 season is kicking off. Join the foundation Friday for a reception celebrating the 20 new works and the artists who will be a part of this seasons sculpture exhibit. Get the chance to meet the artists, hear live music and enjoy a delicious dinner. The event is $25 and will be on the third floor of the St. George Children’s Museum. The installment of the exhibit is Saturday. The exhibit is in downtown St. George. It is a free tour and has maps available to follow the path for all works.
