Children’s creative movement art classes
This creative-movement class for children provides an opportunity to develop movement and learning skills while using the imagination and exploring their playful spirit and dance as a beautiful and fun form of expression and communication. “Fabulous Fiber Follies” at Canyon Community Center
The Red Rock Weavers Guild will feature its fiber creations at the Canyon Community Center. The show features handmade items made by the Red Rock Weavers, unusual fiber items purchased on world travels, and woven and quilted items created by southern Utah artisans. This show will be on display Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. with a reception to be held Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. “Subtle Humor” gallery show
Steven Stradley is a conceptual painter. His art practice addresses painting’s referential and phenomenological properties as well as ideas of illusion and artifice. Steven is represented at A Gallery in Salt Lake City and has shown work extensively throughout Utah and the Midwest. Steven currently teaches at Tuacahn High School for the Performing Arts and Dixie State University where he guides students in greater contemporary awareness and exploration as they position themselves in the field of art. His exhibit “Subtle Humor” will be on display at the Difiore Center Thursday–Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. Dixie Watercolor Society Spring Show and Competition
At its home on Main Street at Historic Downtown St. George, Gallery 35 opens its doors through Feb. 27 to the annual Dixie Watercolor Society’s spring show and art competition. The Stage Door presents “The Producers”

Art Works Gallery presents Jack Seibold’s “Metal, etc”
Utah sculptor Jack Seibold will be featured in a solo show at Art Works Gallery Friday with an opening reception from 5to 8 p.m. The show, entitled “Metal, etc.,” will feature a selection of work constructed from repurposed metal and various media. The DiFiore Center presents “If I were going to make a movie…”
The DiFiore Center will show three short films and have a Q and A session afterward. The intention is the development of a two-way exchange to stimulate ideas and begin to motivate more people to become involved in filmmaking in every aspect. Year-Round Farmer’s Market in Cedar City
Visit the only Year-Round Farmer’s Market in Utah, a real farmers market that sells only locally produced and grown fruit, vegetables, jam, bread, and other farm products.
