For more information, contact Jennifer Wadsworth at difiorecenter@gmail.com, or call (208) 360-6255.
“Above the Cataclysm” curated by Gabriella Warnick
Art now has cause to question its own authenticity. Diffident conjecture abandons habit as mark-making becomes neglected in favor of permanent erasures. Unfinished thoughts and self-effacing bones of a painting raise the question, “When is a work of art finished?” In this exhibition, the pieces express this discord in what might be called the death of painting. This exhibit shows Thursdays–Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through March 31 at the DiFiore Center. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, email difiorecenter@gmail.com, or call (435) 673-4206.
