Utah 4-H Annual In-Service

“Lines in Nature” exhibition
“Lines in Nature” is a two-person exhibit featuring the wood carvings of Justin Newby and the paintings/relief prints of Carol Bold. The exhibit will show through Dec. 26 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Canyon Community Center in Springdale. This is a free event. For information, call (415) 385-5459.
Jerry Uelsmann: “Alchemy & Angst @ 82”

10th Annual Red Rock Film Festival
2016 Jubilee of Trees festival
The advancement of women and newborn services at Dixie Regional Medical Center will be the focus of the 2016 Jubilee of Trees to be held Thursday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Dixie Convention Center. General admission ticket prices are $5 for adults and $1 for children ages 15 and under. Special Jubilee events require special event tickets at different costs.
20th Annual Festival of Trees
Mesquite Arts Council presents the 20th Annual Festival of Trees at the Casablanca Resort Thursday and Friday from 1 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Many trees have been donated for purchase. There will be continuous entertainment for the whole family. Ticket prices are $3 with a $1 discount with two canned food donations. Brigham’s Playhouse presents “Oklahoma!”
Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Oklahoma!” is brought to the stage thanks to Brigham’s Playhouse. Performance times are Thursdays–Saturdays at 7 p.m. and Saturdays at 2 p.m. through Nov. 22. Ticket prices are $23 for adults, $21 for seniors, and $17 for children 5–17 and students (with valid ID) and can be purchased at Brigham’s Playhouse. Children under 5 are not permitted. Dixie State Hispanic Student Association Giving of Gifts
This silent auction dinner will be held at The Falls Event Center to help raise funds to help people in the community who may need a little extra help during the holiday season. The event begins Thursday at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25–$40. Visit EventBrite.com for ticket information.
Art Insights: Sam Davis
Sam Davis, assistant professor of photography at Southern Utah University, is presenting an artist talk about his life, artwork, and artistic inspiration for Art Insights Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Southern Utah Museum of Art. Students and community members meet to experience presentations and discussions by visiting artists and art educators from around the nation who share their work and insights.

Year-Round Farmer’s Market in Cedar City
Visit the only Year-Round Farmer’s Market in Utah, a real farmers market that sells only locally produced and grown fruit, vegetables, jam, bread, and other farm products.
