“Charly: A Love Song”
Jack Weyland’s famous book, “Charly,” comes to life at Brigham’s Playhouse in a musical adaption written by Heather Young and Lex De Azevedo. This romantic comedy will be showing at 7 p.m. every Thursday and Saturday through July 2. Ticket prices vary, and children under 5 are not permitted. Kid and Nic Show
The Skydome Lounge at the CasaBlanca Resort is hosting the fun, high-energy, interactive variety musical group the Kid and Nic Show. They will keep the crowd dancing, singing, and laughing while they play a variety of pop, rock, dance, oldies, current and classic country, ’80s hits, Latin, funk, swing, blues, jazz, and reggae. Get down to the Skydome on Sunday at 7 p.m., and Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. for this live musical blast!
Elvis Rocks Mesquite
Elvis Rocks Mesquite — The Elvis Tribute Artist Contest will return to the CasaBlanca Showroom on Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. Come watch the best Elvis Tribute Artists battle it out for the title of Elvis Rocks Mesquite 2016 Champion. Repertory Dance Theatre Concert at Red Rock Dance Festival
A feature performance by professional dance company Repertory Dance Theatre will be given on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the Tuacahn Hafen Theater. Tickets are $15.
Tarzan
Tuacahn Amphitheater brings an unforgettable experience to the stage in Disney’s timeless adventure, “Tarzan.” This musical will play Thursday through Saturday at 8:30 p.m. until October 12. This is the perfect family adventure for kids and adults. Ticket prices vary, and can be purchased at The Tuacahn Center for the Performing Arts.
Frontier Folk Festival
Frontier Homestead State Park Museum at 635 N. Main St. in Cedar City hosts The Frontier Folk Festival. This family-friendly event has fun for everyone! Bring the whole family to the museum for live music from Stillhouse Road, Marty Warburton and the Home Girls, and The Sonoran Dog’s. Arts/crafts demonstrations, art booths, horseshoe tournament, food, and more will be available for your enjoyment. This event will be held Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Admission is only $1 per person or $5 per family (up to 8 people). “First Freedom”
Award-winning playwright Rob Lauer and Emmy Award-winning, Utah composer Sam Cardon bring a powerful new musical, “First Freedom,” to the stage at Brigham’s Playhouse every Friday at 7 p.m. and every Saturday at 2 p.m. until July 2. This combination of humor, suspense, and gripping music tells the story of Thomas Jefferson and James Madison’s fight for humankind’s most fundamental right: freedom of religion. Piano Man Steve and DJ Juan

Choreography Showcase – Contemporary Dance Concert 2016
Multiple dance performances by various choreographers in the choreography showcase will be given on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the Hafen Theater Tuacahn, hosted by Red Rock Dance Festival. A panel of expert judges will be adjudicating the showcase. Choreographers are encouraged to submit their work and receive feedback from this outstanding panel. Choreographers are made up of a broad range of experience from university faculty to emerging artists that are just entering the field. Judges’ choice and audience choice awards will be given! Most Wanted
The River Lounge at the Virgin River Casino presents a live performance by Most Wanted this Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. Most Wanted, based out of Cedar City, is made up of 4 of Utah’s top professional musicians and performs country music, classic rock, disco, the oldies and everything in between! This is a solid local band that you definitely want to support. Get down to Mesquite for this fantastic performance.
The Downtown Farmer’s Market
The Downtown Farmer’s Market is open every Saturday at 8 a.m. to noon in Ancestor Square at 2 W. St. George Blvd. and will run through October 29, 2016. The market features live music and an array of vendors. The Downtown Farmer’s Market is a nonprofit project dedicated to promoting the downtown area as well as organic gardening, homemade arts and crafts, and other goods. Admission is free. On Saturday, from noon to 1 p.m., the Washington Reception Hall will be celebrating America’s great heritage through music with the Timpanogos Chorale Spirit Of America Concert. Performers include Mack Wilberg, Ronald Staheli, and more! The concert will feature patriotic favorites and American folk songs.
