Forever Plaid
Start off the weekend with Forever Plaid, bringing doo-wop melodies and hilarious antics to Brigham’s Playhouse every Thursday through Saturday until April 23. Join Sparky, Smudge, Jinx, and Frankie for a musical show to remember. The show runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m. with matinee shows on Saturdays from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Tickets run from $17 to $23. St. George Arts Festival
The 37th annual St. George Arts Festival is happening Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days. See over 110 visual artists works from around the United States along with two stages with live performances, two food courts, games, face painting, and more. This year’s featured artist for the festival is metal sculptor and welder Matt Clark. Don’t miss out on two days of art, music, food, and fun at the St. George Historic Town Square. Heritage Choir with Brodie Perry

National Parks Service 100 years lecture
This year marks the 100th year celebration for the National Parks Service. Hear how it was created 100 years ago at a lecture by Steve Parker, a political science professor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. This is part of the Zion Canyon Field Institute J. L. Crawford Lecture Series. It will be held at the Canyon Community Center in Springdale Friday night at 7:30 p.m. Check out the Z-Arts website for more information.

“The Legend of Tumbleweed Gulch”
“The Legend of Tumbleweed Gulch,” presented by The Las Vegas Family Puppet Theater Company, is coming to Springdale. See the wackiest Wild West adventure at Bumbleberry Theater every Saturday at 7 p.m. with the last show on April 23. Be a part of a show the entire family can enjoy. Year-Round Cedar City Farmers Market
Needing a great Saturday morning tradition for friends and family? Then stop by the Year-Round Cedar City Farmers Market every Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to noon. “The Garden”
“The Garden” is a musical experience taking you back to The Garden of Gethsemane. The performances will be at the Electric Theater in downtown St. George on Saturday, March 26 and Monday, March 28 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. with a Saturday matinee performance from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 on Saturday and from $5 to $10 on Monday. Wirelefant at Zion Canyon Brew Pub

“Pirates of Penzance”
The DSU Opera Scenes Workshop comes together with Opera Orchestra to bring you selections from “Pirates of Penzance” Saturday and Monday nights. The show is from 7:30 to 9 p.m at the Eccles Concert Hall at Dixie State University. Come see this show for a music-filled night.
John Denver Tribute
