Art Conversations With Erin Hanson
Enjoy Art Conversations at the St. George Art Museum Thursday night. Speak with impressionist painter Erin Hanson about her work, passion, and inspiration from 7 to 8:30 p.m. This event is free.
“Red” at The Space Between Theatre Company
John Logan is the screenwriter of award-winning Hollywood films such as “Gladiator,” “The Aviator,” “The Last Samurai,” “Hugo” “and” “Skyfall.” The Space Between Theatre Company, in residence at The DiFiore Center for the Arts, invites members of the community to join them for the newest production “Red” Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 6 p.m. This production runs until May 29. LaTressa Smith and Azure Sweet
LaTressa Smith and Azure Sweet hit downtown St. George for the Ancestor Square Spring Concert Series. Hear them perform live Americana and folk covers and original songs. The show begins Thursday at 7 p.m. For a full lineup for this series, visit the Southern Utah Songwriters Association website.
Retro Rockfest In Hurricane
Rock out at Retro Rockfest in Hurricane. See live music from Bullet Boys, Dellacoma, Raven Cain, Stephen Percy, Pyromania, and more. The event will be hosted by DJ Bueller. Southern Utah Farmers Markets
Be a part of a great Saturday morning tradition you won’t want to miss. Visit all of the farmers markets happening in Southern Utah for fresh produce, baked goods, crafts, and more. The Zion Canyon Farmers Market kicks off Saturday and runs until October 15. The market goes from 9 a.m. to noon on the Bit and Spur lawn in Springdale. The Southern Utah Wedding Showcase
Planning a wedding? The Southern Utah Wedding Showcase will be in St. George to help make planning your wedding that much easier. “The Phoenix and the Lark” book signing
Nicole Hymas Conner will be at the Barnes and Noble at Red Cliffs Mall Saturday for a book signing. She is promoting her book, “The Phoenix and the Lark.” Nicole is a St. George native and the writer of the Lark series. Don’t miss your chance to meet her. 2016 Gooseberry Mountain Bike Poker Ride
The Rotary Club of Zion Canyon is raising money for the new water-filling stations throughout the Springdale area. To help fundraise, they are holding the 2016 Gooseberry Mountain Bike Poker Ride Saturday starting at 5 p.m. Riders will race from station to station collecting a poker hand. Winning hands will receive prizes. All of the proceeds will go to building more water-filling stations in Zion. To purchase tickets, visit here. The Sixth Annual Equality Utah Celebration
The Sixth Annual Equality Utah Celebration helps promote freedom for all. Enjoy live poetry, music, and talks from community leaders discussing the importance in seeking equality for all.
