Spend Easter Weekend at the St. George Art Festival

April 18-19, 2025 – St. George, UT

With warmer weather here at last, it’s the ideal time to get outside and connect with the community. And there’s no better way to do so than by celebrating the arts at the 2025 St. George Art Festival. Slated for Easter Weekend, April 18-19, this year’s Festival will feature a record number of artists displaying words in multiple mediums. Add in live music and entertainment – including two free evening concerts – food trucks and booths, a film festival, 5K race, dedicated children’s area and more, and the annual event is the perfect way to welcome Spring.

This year, nearly 200 artists from across the U.S. were accepted into the show, which was juried by a panel of artistic professionals. Awards will be presented to artists in multiple categories on April 18. Visitors can look forward to seeing (and purchasing) paintings, ceramics, sculptures, textiles, glassworks, photography, fine jewelry and more, all carefully curated from hundreds of submissions.

“The excitement is building, and the City staff has been working tirelessly to make this year’s Art Festival the best ever,” said Peyton Lee, Community Arts Manager for the City of St. George. “There’s nothing more beautiful than Spring in St. George, so we hope everyone will want to be a part of this treasured tradition.”

On April 18, the festival will run from 11 AM to 7 PM. Then Tabernacle Street will get mellow with a performance by “Yachty By Nature,” whose take on ‘70s and ‘80s “yacht rock” favorites showcases hits from such artists as Michael McDonald, Hall and Oates, Boz Scaggs, Steely Dan, Toto, Christopher Cross, and many others. The Southern California ensemble features vocals by Scotty McYachty and Julie McCoy, guitar work by Captain Carl, Wes Coast and Big Wave Dave, plus Pacific Rim on sax and flute.

The festival continues on April 19 at 9 AM with the Art Attack 1-mile and 5K race, with original paintings by members of the Southern Utah Art Guild to be presented as awards. Artwork will be on display again at 10 AM, concluding at 6 PM. Then another free concert will be presented on Tabernacle Street featuring Overland Park, Kansas-based indie rockers The Greeting Committee, veterans of Lollapalooza and the South by Southwest conference and festival. The band first came to national attention with its 2015 hit, “Hands Down.” Their most recent hit, “Everyone’s Gone and I Know I’m the Cause,” was included on their 2024 album of the same name, which also featured the top-rated “Where’d All My Friends Go?”

Other Festival activities on tap include: Live entertainment on three stages scattered throughout Town Square. A creation station for the young, and the young at heart, offering 15 diverse crafts that bring artistic visions to life. Food trucks and vendors preparing an array of international food and refreshments, situated by the west and Greater Zion Main stages.
