This October, the Canyon Community Center in Springdale is celebrating Sock-tober—a community-wide donation drive collecting new socks of all sizes to support those in need.
Throughout the month, residents are invited to drop off donations at the Canyon Community Center, located at 126 Lion Blvd., Springdale. All collected socks will be donated to the Dove Center at the end of the month.
The Dove Center empowers individuals and families affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence, providing shelter, safety, and trauma-informed care to help survivors heal and rebuild their lives.
Community members are encouraged to participate by donating cozy, new pairs of socks to help keep others warm this fall.
