Springdale’s Bit & Spur Kicks Off Weekly Music & Market Series

Springdale’s iconic Bit & Spur Restaurant and Saloon is turning up the volume (and the local flavor) once again with the return of its beloved Monday night live music series and farmers market. Starting April 14, the west lawn of The Bit becomes a vibrant outdoor gathering place for locals and visitors alike, with all-ages live music from 5 to 8 PM and a bustling market running from 5 to 9 PM.
Kicking things off on April 14 is Bila Gaana, setting the tone for a season full of diverse talent and community vibes. Each week brings a fresh act, from returning favorites like YESOUISI (April 21 and July 7) and Last Light (May 12 and July 21), to exciting newcomers like Runaway Fire (May 5) and Jeremiah Tall (July 14). Other standouts include Electric Witness (May 19), the blues-rock powerhouse; Juniper City (May 26), bringing their signature folk-modern blend; and Scotty Dub from Las Vegas on June 30.
Colombian groove masters Shangalu (Full Band), known for fusing Caribbean rhythms, funk, and cumbia, return for two nights of danceable magic on June 16 and July 28. And don’t miss Tom Bennett’s soulful storytelling (June 2), or the high-energy jamsters Circus Mutt (June 9).
“The Farmers Market has been a wonderful addition for The Bit and Spur,” says co-owner Alex Pelton, who has been a key figure in elevating the venue since 1994. “We really enjoy hosting an event with a festival-like atmosphere where we can showcase local live musicians, artists, and farmers. Gathering the community together is always something that we strive to accomplish.”
This series has become more than just weekly entertainment—it’s a cornerstone of the Springdale summer rhythm. Nestled beneath the towering cliffs of Zion National Park, The Bit & Spur transforms Monday nights into a celebration of music, community, food, and art. The Farmers Market features everything from locally grown produce to handcrafted goods and tasty fare from the Bit’s renowned kitchen.
The Bit & Spur’s 2025 Music Series & Farmers Market kicks off April 14 and continues into the fall. Live music takes place from 5 to 8 PM, with the Farmers Market open from 5 to 9 PM.
