The premiere of the new original production “Christmas on Broadway” will open at the Electric Theater at 68 E. Tabernacle in downtown St George and will run Dec. 10-12 and 17-19. This will be the first major production at the Electric Theater. “Christmas on Broadway” holds something magical for the whole family and features an all-star cast of local favorites such as Brodie Perry, Jadon Webster, Brayden Morgan, Jared Davis, Joel Thomas, Lainee McDonald, and many others. Even Mayor Jon Pike will be making a singing appearance.
The production features scenes from various shows, with plenty of song and dance numbers from Broadway hits such as “White Christmas,” “Matilda,” “Phantom of the Opera,” “Annie,” and “Elf,” to name a few. An “orphan” choir made up of community youth welcomes patrons as they enter.
The Stage Door will also be bringing “Miss Saigon” to the Electric Theater on Feb. 3 through 6, as well as various other shows. Tickets for “Christmas on Broadway” and “Miss Saigon” are on sale now and can be purchased online at Showtix4u.com or thestagedoortheater.com. For more information, call (435) 656-4407.
