Calling all Janeites, costuming connoisseurs, and fans of elegant pastimes—the Jane Austen Regency Festival returns to Cedar City on June 6–7, bringing two immersive days of period-accurate delight to Southern Utah.
Now in its second year, the festival invites participants to dress in their finest Regency attire and take part in a weekend of romance, refinement, and revelry inspired by the world of Jane Austen. From a genteel garden tea and croquet to a Regency market, crafts, author talks, and the high-society ball, every event is crafted to honor the manners, mischief, and magic of Austen’s beloved stories.
The festivities begin Friday evening, June 6 at 6:30 PM and continue all day Saturday, June 7, starting at 9 AM. Highlights include a promenade, movie night, and even opportunities to meet Regency-era authors. The event is a celebration of community, costuming, and historical storytelling, offering a welcoming space for longtime Austen lovers and newcomers alike.
Whether you’re ready to waltz in a ballroom or picnic in the park in empire-waist style, this festival offers the perfect excuse to live your period drama dreams for a weekend.
