The magic of Olde London returns to Southern Utah as the Dickens’ Christmas Festival opens December 3–6 at the Dixie Convention Center. Presented as a fully immersive Victorian village, this long-standing community tradition transforms the convention center into a bustling holiday marketplace filled with costumed vendors, street performers, theatrical productions, and the warm spirit of a Charles Dickens Christmas.

Running Wednesday through Saturday from 10 AM to 9 PM, the festival invites families to wander cobblestone-style lanes, shop from handcrafted merchants, meet Father Christmas, enjoy live performances, and soak in the festive atmosphere that has become a holiday favorite across the region.

More than a craft show: A full Victorian experience

The Dickens’ Christmas Festival is not your typical holiday market. Every vendor is hand-selected and required to appear in full Victorian-era costume, creating a living streetscape inspired by 19th-century London. Visitors may encounter cheerful orphans, elegant shopkeepers, chimney sweeps, royalty, fortune tellers, and even Queen Victoria as they explore the decorated booths.

Each merchant’s space is designed to resemble an old-world storefront, and performers roam the lanes bringing classic Dickens characters and stories to life. The result is an immersive holiday experience unlike anything else in Southern Utah.
