On May 5 at 7 p.m., the Symphony of the Canyons will perform a concert entitled “Concert in Blue” under the direction of Kortney Stirland. The program will include Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” featuring pianist Donna Casebolt; Johann Strauss’ “Blue Danube”; “Blue Suede Shoes,” a song popularized by Elvis Presley; jazz standard “St. Louis Blues”; and Scottish folk song “Bluebells of Scotland” featuring trombonist Jack Allen. The concert will be held at Kanab High School and is free and open to the public.
