The 13th Annual 2023 Zion Canyon Music Festival
Sept. 29 –30 at the O.C. Tanner Amphitheater
The Southern Utah Independent is honored to be a Zion Canyon Music Festival co-presenter for the upcoming 2023 Zion Canyon Music Festival. This two-day music festival is always planned for the last weekend of September and is packed with amazing sights, sounds, and smells. You will certainly want to attend both days of music, food, arts, crafts… and fun!
This year features local and touring artists, including performances by Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band and The Brothers Comatose.
Held at the O.C. Tanner Amphitheater in Springdale, Utah, those who attend the event may easily browse through a variety of original art, fine craft vendors, and several local restaurant booths, so be sure to plan ahead so you can experience everything the festival has to offer; including handcrafted beer from Wasatch/Squatters Brewers for those over 21.
With fun, food, and music for the whole family, including a Fun Zone for the kids filled with kid-friendly activities, bounce house/slide, games, and more. Alcohol is prohibited in the Kid Zone and closes at dark.
The festival grounds will be filled with a wide variety of art & craft vendors, food trucks, booths, and educational opportunities for you to learn and grow.
Gates open at 4 PM on Friday and 3 PM on Saturday, with the last performances ending at approximately 11 PM.
Tips & Suggestions:
– Bring a blanket for your comfort.
– Please bring a reusable water bottle. Water stations are available.
– It can be hot during the day and cool at night. Wear clothing to accommodate both conditions.
– The festival is a rain-or-shine event. Watch the weather and be prepared if it does rain (i.e., umbrella, raincoat, poncho)
Rules:
– No coolers, outside food (except kid snacks or allergy-related), or alcohol may be brought into the festival. Beer and wine are available for purchase.
– No pocket knives or weapons.
– Backpacks will be inspected. Metal detectors may be used.
– The festival is a non-smoking public place.
Unfortunately, safety concerns mean NO ANIMALS will be allowed on the festival grounds (except registered service animals).
Parking:
– There is no parking past the amphitheater gates. Paid parking spaces may be limited along Lion Blvd. We recommend taking a town shuttle to Lion Blvd. The festival provides a free shuttle service (tips for the drivers appreciated) which will be making stops at the beginning of Lion Blvd at Hoodoos General Store, and the middle of Lion Blvd near the Canyon Community Center. ADA vehicles can drop off at passengers at the front gate and park in the lower parking area.
