The 30th Utah Midsummer Renaissance Faire is underway at Cedar City’s Main Street Park. The event opened Wednesday, July 8, and will continue through Saturday, July 11. The event is free to the public and is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday.
The Utah Midsummer Renaissance Faire allows visitors to step back in time with free entertainment provided by belly dancers, sword fighting, magicians, historical impersonators, fire dancers, and medieval musical acts. Various merchants contribute to the experience by offering goods such as medieval costumes and decor, toys, knives, swords, and more. There will be ample choices of food and drink to accompany the festivities, and face painting and henna will also be available.
