The Eiffels Are Coming To Kanab!
– By Kane County Center for the Arts –
If you were not able to attend last month’s free music and festivities at the Canyons Calling Summer Concert Series at Jackson Flat Reservoir in Kanab, Ut, you will surely want to be at the next one!
This Friday, June 7, at 6 PM, immerse yourself in the synth-rock sound of The Eiffels and what Alternative Press describes as “anthemic and vivacious.” The Eiffels have millions of streams across various music services. They have delighted audiences as openers for X Ambassadors and the Plain White T’s. They have also rocked the stages on the Van’s Warped Tour and the Hollister Feel Good Fest. Opening for The Eiffels is Be Kind, Please Rewind, a local youth band out of Orderville!
But don’t stop there! Mark your calendars and come out again for our final two concerts in this series. July 5th features local bands Monsoon Fever and The Chris Paul Band, for some energizing, soulful, moving, and grooving tunes sure to get you singing or dancing! August 2nd, Kanab welcomes The PickPockets! This up-and-coming bluegrass band is one you will be hearing much more from as their career is picking its way to the top! Opening for them, the charismatic Stone Company will set the tone with their experimental back porch music and unique instrumentations.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Kanab’s red cliffs and beautiful skies, these evenings of free music and festivities are perfect for all ages. Complete with food trucks, shade, and a sense of community, bring your blankets and chairs to savor this event with family and friends. And yes, leashed pets are welcome too, making it a truly inclusive and family-friendly affair!
The Canyons Calling Summer Concert Series is proudly presented by the Kane County Center for the Arts, a local non-profit dedicated to energizing the cultural, educational and economic vitality of its region. We do this through accessible and affordable events and programs of artistic excellence.
