There is something for everybody at City of St. George’s 4th of July Celebration at Historic Town Square
St. GEORGE— The City of St. George is set to host the annual multi-day 4th of July Celebration at Historic Town Square, providing community members a chance to gather and participate in a variety of events and activities that capture the patriotic spirit of the holiday.
“Each year, we try to bring excitement, activities, and attractions to celebrate Independence Day,” said Aaron Metler, the City of St. George’s Recreation Manager for Races and Special Events. “This year, our celebration will be better than ever.”
One of the highlights of the 4th of July Celebration will be the Independence Carnival, which will take place June 30 through July 4. Always popular with children and young adults, the carnival includes a wide array of attractions for people of all ages, including a ferris wheel, thrill rides and traditional carnival food.
“If you plan on going to the Independence Carnival on the 4th, I recommend purchasing a Mega Pass ahead of the event,” Metler added. “It costs $40 if you buy in advance and it offers so much value. Not only does it get you on every carnival ride, but the Mega Pass includes every ride, inflatable and climbing wall, and includes free access to other off-site activities such as both city pools, the St. George Carousel and the train at Thunder Junction All Abilities Park.”
