Summer has finally arrived, and the Tonaquint Nature Center is ready! Join the Nature Center’s staff for a summer filled with hands-on activities, science experiments, nature lesson plans, and unique games like Catch-n-Release and Bustling Beehive. Camps are based on the grade that your child will be attending in the fall of 2015; however, there are also camps for preschool–aged children.
The Busy Bees camp is for children ages 4-5 and will run July 20-23 and July 27-30. The Tweety Birds camp is for kindergarteners and first graders and runs July 6-9 and July 13-16. Wiggly Worms camp is for grades 2 and 3 and will run June 1-5 and June 8-12. The Crazy Crawdads will be for grades 4 and 5 and will run June 15-19 and June 22-26.
