Utah Midsummer Renaissance Faire

HEAR YE! HEAR YE! What would it be like to turn the clock back a few hundred years and live a fantasy you may have only dreamt about? How would you like to walk the streets of a legendary time when there was danger just around the corner, yet you knew that nothing could harm you? What if, on the walk, you could be greeted by royalty, visit artisans who would invite you to their tents to test their tempting food, or wield their newest sword with gems decorating its hilt?
How about eating a turkey leg cooked by one of the most notorious outlaw vendors from the land of Logandale and knowing that it would be not only delicious but safe to eat? You could also eat the magical Kettle Korn cooked by the King himself using dragon’s breath, knowing that within those kernels was held the aphrodisiac of the fourteenth century.
With Fun Games, Festive Food & Vendors galore, exciting demonstrations, Archery & More! Come dressed in your very best costumes to boot! We have a Ventriloquist, a Bird Show, and a candy cannon for the kids twice a day. We have Pirates and Mermaids, Unicorn Rides, Jousting, and weaving of all kinds.
Visit the many Guilds from near and far, see the decorative costumes of the Renaissance Era, or come dressed and play the part yourself.
And new this year, we are seeking child Entertainers. If you have a child or group that would like to perform on Saturday afternoon during the Faire, check out our website and fill out an application. Musician or Magician, a Dancer or singer, now is your chance to perform.
What does it cost to experience such a fantastic event, you ask? Here is the best part. All this plus 92 different shows on two stages with musicians, wild and exotic animals, belly dancers, magic shows, and all of this is free. There is no entrance fee, not even a parking fee. All it costs you is the gas to drive to Cedar City, Utah.
Every year on the second Wednesday of July, a time machine transports you back to the land of “Kedronvale.” Thanks to the efforts of faire board members Rick & Cathy Bryant and Ralph & Ann McAffee, along with others, this year will be the 41st Annual Utah Midsummer Renaissance Faire in Cedar City, Utah, one of the longest-running Renaissance Faires in the country, come be a part of the Magic of the Renaissance and watch, learn & Play
