Does your organization have a new and innovative idea for a way to collaborate with other organizations? Does your organization already have a fantastic example of how you are successfully collaborating?
If so, highlight your project by competing for the title of “Best Collaboration” in the community. Two teams of collaborators will have the opportunity to win a cash prize of $2,500 for the best new collaboration or $1,000 for the best existing collaboration.
The Utah Nonprofits Association (UNA) is seeking innovative projects that demonstrate collaboration between nonprofit organizations, government entities, and for-profit businesses that meet a need in the community. Applicants should submit projects that are or have the following potential:
—To reduce redundancy in nonprofit services.
—To create a new collaborative concept to benefit communities.
—To demonstrate best practices in strategic, partner-focused collaboration.
—To expand and enhance services.
Applications are due by noon March 21.
The Southern Utah Community Impact Summit will ignite and inspire Southern Utah to actively work together to improve the local community. This full-day event will feature interactive educational programs, peer-to-peer networking and success sharing; the Community Impact Challenge and Exposition (Prizes Are: $1,000 and $2,500), panel discussion and first ever Community Impact Awards Ceremony.
Collaboration is critical to eliminating unneeded duplicate services, to stretch limited resources, and to expand effective programs that foster improved quality of life for Southern Utah residents. Understanding how we can develop mutually beneficial partnerships together strikes at the heart and purpose of the Southern Utah Community Impact Summit.
UNA’s mission is to unify, strengthen, and elevate Utah’s nonprofits. The organization serves as the umbrella membership association of nonprofit organizations in Utah. Incorporated in 1990, UNA was created by, and for, people who strive for a stronger, more professional nonprofit community in Utah. The current membership of UNA (statewide) includes over 650 nonprofit organizations and individual members.
