Utah Tech University is inviting the community to kick off the holiday season at its annual Tree Lighting Celebration on Dec. 3 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in the Holland Plaza on campus.

The evening will feature the ceremonial lighting of the university’s 40-foot light tree at 6 p.m., followed by the event’s first-ever holiday-themed drone show at 7:30 p.m. The celebration is free and open to the public.

“There’s something magical about seeing our campus and the St. George community come together in such high spirits to welcome the holiday season,” said Brenna McCue, events and promotions coordinator at Utah Tech.
