Utah Trails Conference 2025
Where Adventure and Innovation Converge
The Utah Trails Conference 2025 is blazing a path to Kanab for two days of outdoor exploration, engaging presentations, and networking opportunities. Taking place April 23–24, this annual gathering invites trail enthusiasts, builders, and advocates to learn from industry experts, share ideas, and get hands-on with trail-building techniques right where the adventure happens.
A Two-Day Trail Extravaganza
On April 23, attendees will gear up for immersive field workshops. From trail layout and design for Utah’s arid landscapes to an off-highway vehicle (OHV) maintenance tour, there’s plenty on the docket for trail lovers of all stripes. After honing outdoor skills all day, participants can wind down with a Kick-Off Dinner at Jackson Flat Reservoir, presented by the Kane County Water Conservancy. Live music from the Chris Paul Band will keep the energy high as guests enjoy a celebratory awards ceremony spotlighting exceptional contributions in the Utah trails community.
Diving into Day Two
April 24 brings a full schedule of classroom sessions—covering topics like Ebike trends, fundraising for nonprofits, and building collaborative relationships between communities and land managers. Backcountry Horsemen, technology experts, and experienced volunteer coordinators will lead sessions on everything from equine partnership to emerging digital tools for trail funding. With breakfast, lunch, and ample networking breaks, participants can expand their trail-building toolkit while forging new partnerships.
