Fort Desolation Fest
Fort Desolation Fest keeps things small to ensure a premium experience for all. By limiting attendance to a fraction of what most major festivals allow, the lines stay short, and everyone has a chance to get closer to the music.

Utah’s Red Rocks Meet Rock-n-Roll at Fort Desolation Fest

June 6-8, 2024

Don’t miss the ultimate outdoor music festival at the breathtaking Cougar Ridge Resort in Torrey, Utah. From well-known headliners to the best bands you haven’t yet heard of (but soon won’t stop talking about), Fort Desolation Fest has it all.

World-Renowned Music and Otherworldly Views
The main-stage lineup this year includes Black Pumas, Sierra Ferrell, Paul Cauthen, The Record Company, Jaime Wyatt, The Lil Smokies, Pokey LaFarge, The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band, Olivia Wolf, and Cory Mon. More artists will be announced for the second stage as the event gets closer. And they’re all playing in the gorgeous red rocks just outside Capitol Reef National Park.

A Legendary Campground Experience
The music and fun don’t stop in the concert area. Every night, surprise guests show up on the campground stage for intimate after-hours jam sessions in the middle of this International Dark Sky Community. And every day is a chance to get to know your fellow outdoor-loving campers over food, drinks, games, music and more. Reserve your camping spot before they’re gone!

New Glamping—Where Nature Meets Luxury
Now, you can experience the campground with the niceties of a luxury hotel. Glampers stay in Scandinavian-inspired tents and have access to a concierge lounge, baggage assistance, parking, a morning coffee-and-pastry bar, and much more.

Your Chance to Explore the Capitol Reef National Park Area
Fort Desolation Fest happens near Capitol Reef National Park, one of Utah’s “Mighty Five” national parks. The music takes place at night, so you have three days to find your own adventures in the area’s awe-inspiring red-rock cliffs, canyons, domes, and arches. There’s something for everyone, from hiking to fly-fishing to cycling to off-roading.

A Few More Volunteer Spots Available
Each year, an amazing volunteer staff helps make Fort Desolation Fest possible. The festival prioritizes volunteers in the Torrey area but also hires some from out of town in exchange for a GA weekend music pass and a spot in the volunteer campground. Email info@fortdesolation.com to inquire about open volunteer positions.
