The Washington County Democratic Party will hold a meet-and-greet fundraiser for Democratic congressional candidate Luz Robles at the Painted Pony Restaurant in St. George on Tuesday, June 24 at 11 a.m. Robles, who is currently a member of the Utah State Senate, is a centrist candidate focused on issues of veterans, immigration, and education that are of concern to all Americans.
At the luncheon, guests will have the opportunity to hear Robles’ position on various issues and ask questions. The cost is $25 per person, and space is limited. Those wishing to attend should contact Katie Madsen at [email protected] to reserve a seat.
“In a time when there appears to be so much divisiveness in our country, I am not running against anyone or anything. I am running to represent Utah and all its people in the United States Congress,” Robles said of her campaign.
“Luz is solidly in sync with the values of working people in Utah and will bring her concerns to the national stage, which will help Utah and our country,” said Della Lowe, chair of the Washington County Democratic Party. “She will fight for our interests and help make Utah a better place for all Utahns.”
