Warren Hill‘s concert at the Access Showroom at Aliante Casino + Hotel +Spa on Saturday, Oct. 3, was nothing short of amazing! He didn’t miss a beat as he belted out song after song from his new album “Under The Influence,” a collection of 13 classic rock masterpieces. It brought back great memories with a Warren Hill touch of class and incredible talent. He even brought his lovely daughter along to sing and play guitar. Alivia is only 16 years old but surely will be on stage on her own someday. The two of them made for great entertainment as they played and sang one of my personal favorites from Led Zeppelin, “Black Dog.” Daddy said he didn’t know why she’d want to pursue the tough road ahead in the entertainment industry, but he’s her strongest supporter and is helping her get a foot in the door on his stage. That’s what daddies do for their little girls, right?
This was my first time seeing Warren Hill perform live, and I’m more of a fan now than ever before. He said he can hold a note longer than most thanks in part to his “barrel chest.” Never heard that one before, but he proved that more than once! His wife of 22 years was in the audience as well, and he played a song he wrote especially for her for their wedding day, simply titled “Tamera.” His band was just as hot as he was. Especially Mr. Ronney Lee on piano. This guy should have his own show. The acoustics at the Access Showroom at Aliante didn’t disappoint. This is a fabulous venue to hear your favorite performers live. You’ll be transformed into another world of memories and goose bumps.
You won’t want to miss the lineup of great performers coming soon to the Access Showroom at Aliante this year, like Michael Franks on Oct. 17, Brian Culbertson on Nov. 14, and Nick Colionne and Maysa on Nov. 21, to name a few. All top-notch jazz artists who will perform up-front-and-personal in a venue where there’s no such thing as a bad seat!
